Man, Dell'Otto is incredible. Good luck on this. Does anyone know if he has a rep or sells his own art? I'd like to get a feel for his prices but there's not a lot of market data out there...Thanks!!

Check out Manrico Avorio's CAF for some sweet art from Dell'Otto.

Tales and Superhero art

Mitch at Graphic Collectibles also has a few for sale. Not cheap, but this guy is a rockstar.

I have personally met Dell Otto twice. I have asked him about pricing. commissions are 500. finished pieces start at 1500 and go up from there depending on the piece and the time involved. So you are talking Alex ross prices. on alot of stuff.

Dell'Otto's amazing, and I think right now is the time to buy his work if you can afford it- if he were on the US scene sooner, I have no doubt his prices would be even higher right now.

He's got one of the highest "upsides" around right now out of anyone working in the field.

looks like the seller go an "offer he couldn't refuse"!!!

sneaky....very sneaky...

I had the cover to the next issue as well and I thought they should stay together. I found a buyer(a board member) who took both. Don't see what's "sneaky" about it.

well i guess as long as you got your cash and the buyer got his 2 covers...all is well in the art world.
