Let's try one of these new-fangled grading polls all the kids are talking about. smile.gif

 

Here's Fight Comics #70 from 1950. Terrific colors/gloss and white pages, but some flaws that don't show up well in the scans:

1) 1.5'' tear on the right edge (just to the right of the bound woman), and

2) a couple of light NCB vertical ''bends'' that span the book from top to bottom (perhaps a heavy book or two was rested on it at some time).

this book looks so sweet that i was hard pressed to give it a 5.0, but i think that takes the tear and bends into account, considering how beautiful the FC presents. that BLUE just jumps off the page................ thumbsup2.gif

I went 4.5 because of the tear in the FC and the wrinkles in the BC, but with the brilliant colors and the age of the book it would probably get a 5+ if submitted.

 

Still presents extremely well for a 57 year old book!

I was at 5.0 all the way . . . until the BC sorry.gif
