Does a Distributors mark on the cover Hurt possible Grade?

If you get a comic graded from the 70's and it is in high grade (9.4+) but has a distributors mark on cover (or rear cover) does that hurt the grade?.. if so, how much.. thanks a lot!

Assuming everything with the book is fine...I think the highest is 9.4...although I think I've seen book with 9.6 with overspray on the BACK.

 

This book typically goes high...got this one cheap b/c of the overspray...which was fine by me. Keep this in mind that you may not realize full market potential. I'd worry more on resell value than CGC...but then again maybe you should post a scan so we can see the extent of the issue.
