I've been asking the very same question about a few of my other books. The general consensus is yes, send it to Matt Nelson to press out that spine roll and then send it to CGC.

 

I personally wouldn't, there's no troopers on it.

Ok here it goes... I am such a newbie at all of this. I hope I do this right. I think the pages are off white to tan. Would it be worth it to have the roll worked on?

First, welcome to the boards! (thumbs u

 

If by "worth it" you mean financially worth it, definintely not...your book has a huge coupon missing from the back, and would probably grade no higher than Fair, even though the front looks pretty nice.

 

If you're doing it for your own collection, that's another story. Personally, I'd either just keep it as is, and/or look for an upgrade.

For educational purposes... what would this be graded if the coupon was not cut off?
