Golden age Western art values

I know western art isn't the most popular. But what is the general value of a 50's MEACHER piece. Ifound a page from 1955 for $100.00 I don't collect this but am thinking of a possible flip.

I'm not sure I would buy it to flip. I just bought some western art because the series it came from was an all time favorite of mine. I'm pretty sure I overpaid on it, as the art set for a long while, but it was stuff that I never imagined I would see the originals to. I've been watching Gil Kane western covers go for around $1000, when Kane covers from the same time period, but featuring the Marvel heroes would go for 10X that at least. It's a niche market & you might end up sitting on the piece for awhile. Good luck with it.

I've got a pair of Frank Bolles pages, nothing fancy, but I don't have a clue what they're from aside from the fact that they are western pages.

Western art is def. a niche market. I wouldn't spend money on anything you're not willing to hold on to until the right buyer comes along.
