Real Adventure Comics #23!

Easily matched to the USA St John Publishing comic titled "Authentic Police Cases" (#15 - Oct. 1951), this Australian comic has a locally redrawn/swiped cover and black and white interiors.  The interiors on this book do not match the St John Publishing book, and perhaps I'll get over to Grand Comic Database (GCD) to add the index for this Jayar Studios publication (GCD notes the publisher as "Magazine Management").

I would encourage any interested fans of this book to go over to GCD and check out the VERY cool gallery of images they have (several redrawn APC Baker covers).

Only the first interior story is Baker's (matching the cover, "Racketeering In Drugs"), and the print quality is about average (I have seen worse).  My interest in these is to see the beautiful line-work of Matt Baker, and sometimes the detail is lost in a blurry print.

I'll be using a template sizing sheet to photograph these books, as they can range from digest size all the way up to near magazine (of which this one falls):

With the staining on an otherwise excellent copy, I'd imagine a technical grade of this book no higher than 5.0.
