Star Wars #1-3 Unlicensed Indonesian Editions 1978 Only CGC Set

Star Wars #1-3 Unlicensed Indonesian Editions 1978 Only CGC Set

EBAY LINK: https://www.ebay.com/itm/134209889987

The rarest and probably the strangest Star Wars variant in the actual universe, this unlicensed trilogy finds Jan Mintaraga, one of Indonesia's most stylish comic artists, performing a panel-by-panel adaptation of Howard Chaykin's first three issues.

These comics are hard to find in any condition, much less copies worthy of slabbing: this is essentially the best I could do over 5 years of active Google-translated Facebook-trading.

No clue on what they're worth, or if many/anyone wants them–but whoever walks away with this lot will truly have the most insanely rare Star Wars comics on Earth. The CGC Census totals on these are 1, 3, and 2 copies total!

That's very interesting that the artist chose to redraw the entire contents rather than just making a new cover over copies of the interiors.  It's unauthorized, so why not just save yourself the time of redrawing?!!

The Falcon on the cover to #3 is hilarious.  The side cockpit became an engine!  The painting adds a nice effect.
