BLBs do cross over with comic strips but not much with comic books.
Comic Books are full of comic book stories.
Big Little books have a single story, a novelette?, with an illustration on every other page.
Pulp Magazines contain fiction of any length, with a few scattered interior illustrations.

Everything old is hard to find in high grade.
"And not a quality location to post in the threads."
And neither is this sub-board.Donald Duck may be the exception. Pirates Gold and Volcano Valley were both stories by Barks and there are others.

Don't have any new comics but found another illustration by Alex.

When did Bedrock open on Westheimer? I used to go there to listen to the Empty Can Band. Wasn't the Godfathers also on that Street?

I was surprised to read that Stoner was one of the first if not the first black comic book artist, well before Matt Baker. Some books said Stoner created the Speed Saunders character for Detective 1 but in later interviews he said his first work was in 1939 for Chesler. He worked at Timely for several years and inked the first Flexo story in Mystic 1 and probably drew all the Blackstone stories in the Timely series.
So do I have a Blackstone autograph or EC Stoner signing as his character.

I have collected most of the Our Gang series with art by Carl Barks but willing to let the Tom Jerry series go.
I like the issue with the Spanky autgraph cause he was supposed to be the editor. I doubt if he knew that.

Does anyone know of any online stores that have a large number of Tom & Jerry comics?
I've already sifted through MyComicShop, NewKadia, Mile High, dozens of eBay stores, and a couple of smaller online comic shops.
I'm going to look though Comic Collector and HipComic again later today.
Looking to see whether I've missed any others that may hold a huge collection that doesn't break the bank.
What issues do you need?

I absolutely LOVE Godwin's comic work and have been searching for a missing cover copy of 17 just so that I can scan the WW story. Your copy looks beautiful.
And I never see #3 in such nice shape. WOW.

I am looking for a coverless GA Superman 12 (one with white patriotic cover) and coverless Four Color 178 (Bear Mtn. Uncle Scrooge). Was told FC 178 is quite common as the print run was huge on Disney ducks ....
I do have a coverless copy of Superman 12 but I am interested in a cover or a good trade.
