Thanks for the reply, Sigur Ros! So not just me. First of all, awesome books, thanks for sharing! It's very frustrating. Right, I'm torn what to do. The scuffing, annoying, but clearly on the case/mylar. The plastic pieces inside on my comic?? I genuinely worry about the damage it could cause to it. Feel like I can't leave it in there. I've had minor scuffing, or newton rings, in the past, I can live with that. This was egregious. So much scuffing all over, you can't NOT notice it. And then the plastic shards worry me. Ugh.

Has anyone else had issues with scuffing on the inner plastic of slab / mylar? Have had a few come back lately like that. Was super pumped to get my GSX 1 back today! Overall, still psyched about it. Rolled the dice on CCS, first time trying them. Honestly, happy with the service. Took it from a 5.0 to 7.0. knew the color breaking bend on the top right wasn't going away, but other than that it just had some mild denting and minor creasing, which they almost completely pressed out. Page quality OW/W stayed OW/W. Having said that, I was a little disappointed when I examined the slab closely. There is a lot of what looks like scuffing inside the slab and/or on the mylar. Specifically, almost completely covering "Giant-Size," and several large scuffs over wolverine and colossus' face. On the back, there are what looks like little pieces of plastic inside the mylar on the book, not psyched to see that. The top in is like an uncooked rice grain size, but it's clearly inside the sealed bag and pressing down into the comic. Just very frustrating. Not that it should happen to anyone's collectible, regardless of value, but I just really disappointed to see these issues when it came back. Spent a lot of money getting it pressed and cleaned, and regraded. This is one of the beloved books of my collection though, so I sprang for it. I guess I can ask them to reslab it? Just worried about more handling and who knows how long until I get it back. The front cover is the money shot, and though it's hard to picture well, the scuffing is really distracting in person.

Mine is down as well since yesterday, still down. I also tried customer service by phone today for an unrelated question, that number just rings and rings too? Never had an issue getting through before...

None of mine showing up either. The issue has persisted, still unable to view them, hopefully they are aware. As of typing this, still cannot access any submission tracking info, just spins then goes blank.

Hey EastEnd1, thanks for the reply and sharing your experience. For sure, my fast track economy, regular modern, and standard submissions recently all came through much quicker than the posted TAT. Which, don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with and have been impressed with how quickly they got them back. This is for an ASM 50. Honestly, depending on how it grades out I could have submitted it under the standard tier, but I figured I'd just spring for the express because it would come back faster either way. Sounds plausible, I agree with everything you said, as a customer its just frustrating. I happily paid a small premium (effectively double) to get my more expensive book back faster, but seems like I would have had better luck just sending it standard.

Anyone experiencing delays with Express tier lately? Have one in right now that has been G/E/I for 9 days. As of 3 days ago, they told me it was actually in quality control. Still hadn't updated today, called and they said it was actually finalized, but again, still hasn't updated the status. I know, probably I'm just being impatient. But it's frustrating when you shell out a lot of money for express tier and it's now been 14 days since being delivered to CGC. My Standard tier submission that arrived the same day is already shipped... So far my personal experience has been that they exceed (as in get them done faster than the turnaround) modern, economy fast track, and standard turnaround times, but both Express tiers I have submitted end up taking a good deal longer than the posted turnaround. Just wondering why that is.

Hi everyone, New here and only my second submission. I had a modern sub with 5 books that progressed from grading/encapsulation/imaging to quality control/finalized, and finally to grading/quality control. A few hours later, it changed from grading/quality back to grading/encapsulation/imaging. Is that something that can happen? Any thoughts as to why? I'm sure it's nothing but now I'm wondering if there was any kind of issue. Thanks so much for any insight.

Hi I'm curious about my express order as well. You guys have been getting stuff moving really quick, appreciate it! This is one I really wanted to get back for Christmas as a gift.
