Don't really know much about the process but I thought the same. I didn't know but didn't think a clean and press was worth paying out for.
Not sure if they would get a better grade which is why I asked for advice from the board.

I found ASM 1-40 (minus 2 and 18). Some in decent condition. Some not so good. I never realised how massive the comic world was until I found my father's old collection(300+) and started looking into it.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I found over 300 comics up there that my father collected as a kid. Daredevil 1-20 (minus #18 I think) in there.
