  1. I believe that BP's DNM #6 goes on sale on Thursday, February 15, 2018.
  2. That, in the words of a very wise individual, truly sucks.
  3. Unfortunately, I did not do a search for a ComicXposure thread on the board prior to my rather recent exposure to this so-called store. Thus, I will note that having dealt with ComicXposure once, is once too often. Further, I would, repeat, would say that it lacks customer service but that would be too kind; it would not know customer service if it was cohabitating with customer service.
  4. Hello Once Again, I would like to see a point increase for Batman 25 from the Golden Age since, as with almost, if not all, Golden Age Batman comic books, especially in the higher CGC graded grades, are in very high demand and this issue has seen an especially strong and sustained price increase. Some examples of sales, via Heritage Auction Galleries (https://comics.ha.com/c/search-results.zx?Ns=&Nty=1&Ntk=SI_Titles-Desc&N=790+231+52&Ntt=Batman+25&ic4=SortBy-071515), are: Auction 7158 | Lot 91013 » Golden Age (1938-1955) Batman #25 (DC, 1944) CGC VF 8.0 White pages.... Bid Source: HA.com/Live Service CGC Grade VF 8.0 Auction Ended Feb 23, 2017 Auction Archives Sold For: $2,748.50 Auction 121614 | Lot 11234 » Golden Age (1938-1955) Batman #25 (DC, 1944) CGC VF- 7.5 White pages.... Bid Source: HA.com/Live Service CGC Grade VF- 7.5 Auction Ended Apr 3, 2016 Auction Archives Sold For: $2,270.50 To repeat, thank you for your consideration.
  5. Hello, I would like to see a point increase for Detective Comics 395 due to both the high demand for this issue, both raw and CGC graded, and sale prices of CGC graded copies. For example, two recent sales via ComicLink (http://www.comiclink.com/search.asp?where=sell&title=detective comics 395&ItemType=CB) were $3600 for a CGC graded 9.6 copy and $1223 for a CGC graded 9.4 copy. Thank you again for your consideration.
  6. Hello again, I would like to see a point increase for New Gods 7, published 2-3/1972, because this comic book is in high demand and its cost has dramatically increased over, approximately, the past year. Some recent sale prices on eBay include a CGC graded 9.6 copy selling for over $600 and a CGC graded 9.2 copy selling for $400. As always, thank you for your consideration.
  7. I communicated with PB when their price increased "slightly," and they basically told me to go, ahem, 'f myself. Perhaps I'll communicate with them again.
  8. I thought that you were thinking of the purple people with green hair that live in a van down by a river. Silly me. "Cheers."
  9. Hello, I would like CGC to consider point increases for Batman 232 and 234 and Detective Comics 402, 405 and 411 because these five issues are not only in high demand, their prices in the CGC graded 9.4 to 9.8 grades, for instance, have increased substantially for a sustained period of time. For example, when a CGC graded copy of Detective Comics 402 in these grades is for sale the demand and price are significant and, recently, a CGC graded 9.4 copy of Detective Comics 411 sold for over $4000. Thank you for your consideration.
  10. A few months ago I saw the prices that Aspen was/is asking for Secret Empire, etc., and thought that my comic book funds were better spent elsewhere; and they were.
  11. Yes, off by a few K. Still, someone "once" said that NM 98 in CGC 9.9 grade is a sound economic investment as it will only increase in value. I wonder how that worked out.
  12. All I can say/write is wow. Thankfully, none of the books that I have purchased from them have been graded that poorly.
  13. Ditto MC/CC; they graded a raw Golden Age Batman 8.0, I graded it 7.5, and CGC graded it 7.5. I slightly overpaid for it but, for now at least, it is worth quite a bit more than I paid.
  14. Yes, the Tec 500 to 600 has also grown substantially. My set only includes books that I purchased graded as my original owner copies are still in storage and likely will be for many more years, if not decades. As concerns subs, most of my last few subs have been moderns and all received the grades that I expected. Of course, receiving a 9.8, for example, on a modern is a "gimme," in my experience, if the book only has the issues, excuse the pun, that, again, in my experience, CGC accepts on them.
  15. Yes, quite a "few" sets of the Tec 401 to 500 run have appeared over the years. Several of the "newer" ones, and at least one of the "original" sets, focus on the books with Adams' covers, while others, I believe, intend to collect the full run. As we know, it is a great run; with the exorbitant prices for several of the issues, I am glad I purchased my copies on the "cheap" several years ago.
  16. Pat, The Tec run is going well, slowly but surely; now 100% but I'm going for that 9.8 on the case when I can find them "cheap" (or just find them).
  17. Pat. I hope that you and your family are well. If you'll note, my posting has increased; at this rate, I'll reach 1000 posts around 2025.
  18. Yes, I realized that. I'll have to look at my copies again, but I do recall that one copy has a large cb spine tick on the back cover.
  19. It has been back in stock for approximately one week; perhaps other exclusive Bulletproof Comics currently out of stock covers will be back in stock at some point.
  20. Yes, for me: comic books funds for comic book purchases; only cash (check), including time payments.
  21. Professor Pecora is a CGC board member; you may look at his Incredible Hulk 180-182 registry set if you wish (Edit: which he may have sold http://www.ebay.com/itm/Incredible-Hulk-181-CGC-9-8-W-1st-full-appearance-of-Wolverine-1-COPY-/222632598238?nma=true&si=Oz7MbzUcrzFPRfEjhi%2FJwyaNjUY%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557); and I do not believe that he is Boston Corbett.
  22. Fantastic books, I especially like the APC #6 because that cover has impressed me for many a year.
