  1. Yes, I realized that. I'll have to look at my copies again, but I do recall that one copy has a large cb spine tick on the back cover.
  2. It has been back in stock for approximately one week; perhaps other exclusive Bulletproof Comics currently out of stock covers will be back in stock at some point.
  3. Yes, for me: comic books funds for comic book purchases; only cash (check), including time payments.
  4. Professor Pecora is a CGC board member; you may look at his Incredible Hulk 180-182 registry set if you wish (Edit: which he may have sold http://www.ebay.com/itm/Incredible-Hulk-181-CGC-9-8-W-1st-full-appearance-of-Wolverine-1-COPY-/222632598238?nma=true&si=Oz7MbzUcrzFPRfEjhi%2FJwyaNjUY%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557); and I do not believe that he is Boston Corbett.
  5. Fantastic books, I especially like the APC #6 because that cover has impressed me for many a year.
  6. I am also highly disappointed, without any qualms, in Bulletproof Comics because of this "not new" cover they will sell. Moreover, this action by them will make me quite hesitant to purchase any of their "exclusive" covers in the future since they will likely not be exclusive.
  7. Go here: https://www.cgccomics.com/census/index.asp and input your information (i.e., Avengers 57).
  8. Roy, This is very, very extremely nice. Now, if only time-payments were available for a hundred, or more, years.
  9. A South American country would not be able to sell you even a cheap collectible.
  10. I went through David, in 1979, but Dave stayed off shore, Andrew in, as we well know, August 1992, and many others whose names I do not recall with any certainty. Of note, I have been through two, perhaps, three hurricanes were I reside now-up I-95 from Miami and Fort Lauderdale. I have countless family members in Irma's path. Take good care.
  11. Perhaps Daredevil can be a one-armed pirate with one blue eye and one hazel eye who does not appreciate anyone that is not.
  12. I agree; I "played that game" one time on a 1000 copy print run and, although a very limited sample, of the two raw copies I purchased one was a 9.6 (9.8 with a press with a tiny cb tick) and the other a 9.4, at best, with, if I recall correctly, three cb ticks, two of them tiny. Both copies had the very common wavy rear covers found on moderns. Some of the folks I know have received 8.5/VF+ copies in such scenarios. In my experience, these company's/sellers (to my knowledge, none of them are on the boards) may guarantee a 9.6 or do not guaranty a grade.
  13. It took me a few years to locate a Tec 402 and, for that matter, a relatively well presenting Tec 411.
  14. I am going to prepare a Blind Box that includes many of the Image comic books that I purchased during the 1990s and send it to Image Comics. I hope that they enjoy it.
  15. As concerns any Bronze Age comic books with Batman, I could take them or leave them.
  16. If I had to do that "much work" to collect almost anything, it is very likely that I would stop collecting whatever it was. I respect the original poster's dedication.
  17. I offered $3.99 for a lifetime and they told me to go ... it.
  18. "If you're raising the print runs then the price should come down." Yes, and as with Peter Parker, ... #1, covers A, B, and C unsigned are $90. At a perhaps soon to be reached price point, I'll have to get off the J. Scott Campbell train due to insufficient funds and call it a day for my Campbell cover collection.
  19. Mollie, Please create a (s) [edit] set for DC's Elvira's House of Mystery (total issues: 11), to include Elvira's House of Mystery Special 1: Haunted Holidays. Thank you!
