I looked this book up to confirm that it's from 1971, before the Godfather movie came out (not that there's anything to suggest this is a mob story, but I was curious to see if the word "godfather" would have been in the public consciousness at the time the book was made). In the plot synopsis I read, the word doesn't even appear, so I can't tell which character that is. The cover sure seems to imply that Batman himself is the godfather? Godfather of what exactly?
Sorry for all the questions, just idle curiosity since I'm not familiar with the story.
I haven't read it as yet.

What would you say is the most potentially habit-forming substance in these photos?

Sweet looking copy of issue #2. IMHO the first 5 issues have some really great action covers.
It's pretty brittle actually. I wish there was a way to take that out without actually altering the book.

I thought the minimum was $19? When did it change to $29?
"For Comic, Currency, Movie Posters, Sports Collectibles, U.S. Animation Art, U.S. Coin, and World & Ancient Coin Auction lots the Buyer’s Premium is twenty percent (20%) subject to a minimum of $29 per lot, except for Sports Collectibles lots which are subject to a minimum of $14 per lot;"
I believe that last week was the jump. Also the minimum to cut the bid jumped up from $100. I forget what it is now.
