I remember the last issue of Star Wars had inks by Whilce. That was a weird issue because it was like they jumped a year or more worth of story from the previous issue. Luke suddenly having long hair was strange. I was pretty confused as a kid when I got it and it didn't really synch up with the previous issue.

When I started really paying attention to this stuff in the early 90's, the first appearances of Kitty and Dazzler were both considered the main reason to buy those 2 books. The storyline was not really that important. I can only imagine that it has stayed true for the past 30 years.

Did you mean clearly broken? Or do you mean the post is still there even though it's popped?
Yeah, the post is there. I didn't know if that made a difference as far as resubmitting it to CGC. But, I've been looking at the comic and I think that whatever caused it to pop, caused the comic to shift in its cover. It looks like it can shift a small amount up or down inside the sleeve, inside the cover. The seller refunded me and instead of paying to send me a return label told me to keep it.

I was confused by the question because in my first picture, you can clearly see the post is unbroken

I decided recently to get back into comics. I wanted to go back and get a run of Cap in Tales of suspense. It's been a few months and I am about halfway there. I have somehow wound up with 3 each of 59 and 60. I have since taken better care to not just buy a 59 because I see it and make notes of the other ones I buy, My only other dupe is 95.

I did not know that.

Slabs are not air-tight (sealed) and the old slabs can be pried open a bit on both sides. What year was your comic slabbed?
where do you see a date?
