  1. @RM4570 That is correct @oluckydayo If you are submitting multiple grading tiers in the same shipping box, indicate the highest/fastest grading tier on the sides of your shipping box. Incorrectly marked packages will experience delays. Please make sure that you pack your cards in the shipping box in the exact order that they appear on your packing list that you will print out when completing your CSG Online Submission form.
  2. @Eric3222 Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. CSG will certify sports cards with manufacturer’s certified (“pack pulled”) autographs only. Cards with other autographs are not currently eligible for CSG certification. The cost to have your manufacturer's certified autographed card certified would depend on the service tier that you choose. For more information on the current CSG Services & Fees CLICK HERE.
  3. The top card from the 1980-81 Topps set brings together three of the NBA’s most legendary players. Topps introduced a new concept to the world of sports card collecting when it released its 1980-81 set of basketball cards. Every card in the set featured three players, each on its own “mini card,” with perforations that allowed the standard-sized cards to be separated easily into three smaller cards. The mini card concept didn’t catch on, but the set produced a card that is considered by some to be the “holy grail” of basketball card collecting. READ MORE

  5. @Ben Sloc I apologize for the centering issue on your CSG slab. I have forwarded this information to our quality control to look into the labels being printed off-center. Please utilize our new, self-serve Mechanical Error feature on the Online Submission form to return your item for correction. Thank You & Have a Great Day!
  6. Topps’ Gypsy Queen baseball has always had an old-time, 19th-century feel to it. That makes sense since the set is based on the cigarette cards released between 1887 and 1890. Unlike Allen & Ginter, another retro set that has more of an eclectic mix, Gypsy Queen concentrates solely on baseball. Gypsy Queen will be released the week of May 18, 2022. A hobby box will contain 24 packs, with eight cards to a pack. Topps is promising two autograph cards and three chrome cards per hobby box. READ MORE
  7. Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG™) recently certified a 2020 Panini Contenders Rookie Ticket Autographs #101 Joe Burrow. CSG graded the Rookie Ticket Autograph card a 9.5, with sub-grades of 10 for Centering, Corners and Edges and a 9 for Surface. The autograph graded a 10. This on-card autograph, uncommon in this set, is highly coveted by collectors compared to the on-sticker variety. Both types of autographs are still authenticated by Panini. READ MORE
  8. A new basketball card brand will arrive later in the NBA season with Panini set to push out 2021-22 Recon Basketball. The name isn’t totally new. Recon was used inside last season’s Chronicles Basketball product, but now becomes a standalone product, with a release date of October 27. READ MORE
  9. @Nooorm If you want to have the card graded you would need to crack it and then send it in raw as a regular CSG submission. Here are the specifics of the CSG Cross-Over Service: CSG Cross-Over Service With CSG's CrossOver service, a card in a PSA, Beckett* or SGC holder is evaluated for CSG grading. The card will be removed from its holder and encapsulated by CSG only if CSG believes that the card will receive a CSG grade that is the same or higher than the grade assigned by the other grading service. If CSG believes the card does not meet its standards for the grade, it will be returned in its original holder and the full grading fee will still apply. If the card has been assigned sub-grades by the other grading service, it will be removed from its holder and encapsulated by CSG only if CSG believes all of the sub-grades will be the same or higher with CSG. *CSG treats Beckett BCCG encapsulated cards as raw cards. BCCG cards will be removed from their holders and crossed at any grade.
  10. @JWBlue When cards enter the grading phase of the certification process, CSG processes credit card payments. After the grading/encapsulation/imaging phase would be the quality control phase followed by the shipping phase. 11. @TheJakester I was given this message from our Website Coordinator "The ProIV server is currently down. Any web function that relies on ProIV is not working. This includes CSG submission forms, cert verification, submission tracking, registry entries, etc." Most likely the issues you are having are due this.

  16. Hello Everyone, We apologize for the confusing response to the original question about charging for sub-grades. There is no double standard when it comes to CSG grading. Cards are graded the same, whether the submitter has requested sub-grades or not. However, sub-grades do take more time during the grading process. When a card is submitted to CSG, it is evaluated by the graders, and all four sub-grades are considered when determining a card's grade. When sub-grades are requested, there is essentially an extra step of confirming and recording the sub-grades, which slows down the grading process. That's the distinction and the reason for the fee.
  17. We apologize for the confusion here. Our basic service is no sub-grades, and we offer our customers the option to add subgrades to their cards for cards they feel would benefit from having sub-grades. Subgrades are not our standard service, and they do take longer in the grading process. In order to offer the same quality service to all customers, we charge a fee for the additional add-on service of subgrades.
  18. @Matt Kahkonen You got two great cards right there. We are glad to hear that you are happy with your submissions. Thank you for choosing CSG!

  23. @Mrtombs I just started recently as the Administrator for the CSG Chat Boards and I came across your post. I wanted to see if you were able to get assistance with this. Your card appears to be the Base Red from the 2019-20 Panini Status set and not the White Diamonds (which would have been numbered /125 as you stated above).
