  1. Bought this raw, as I mentioned on a previous page, from a high grade collection at my first Chicago Comiccon.
  2. Here are my top 10 and HMs'. A tough task, probably would change if I did again in a week from now. 1 - ST 89 2 - TOS 15 3 - JIM 62 4 - ST 75 5 - JIM 71 6 - ST 80 7 - TTA 10 8 - TOS 10 9 - TOS 11 10 - JIM 72 Honorable mentions: TTA 29, TTA 13, ST 83, TOS 8 and TOS 2
  3. Speculation as to who we would like to see in the role of Phantom lady??!!
  4. Its been over 8 years ago that I picked up this copy. I could not let this one pass me by, so I had to bid aggressively and was fortunately able to add it to my collection.
  5. Purchased this copy raw from a book shop in an area of Maryland that I use to live in 1980. This was one of four nice copies they had, this one the better of the four that I selected. The story was they all were mixed in with a batch of old newspapers. Of course, I should have purchased them all, but $35 was a lot for me for one book.
  6. Picked up this copy just 2 years ago next month. Yeah, lets do TTA next.
  7. I nabbed the JIM 28. A big upgrade on my raw copy and can add to my registry set.
  8. I nabbed the ST 98 CGC 9.0. Did not think it would go that high, much more than I wanted to spend. Just an issue that has eluded me in higher grade. I thought the ST 80 in CGC 8.5 for $1230 was a steal. I paid much more than that for my 8.5 copy several years ago. What did the TTA 31 sell for? TOS, at is point, was at the end of the large monster/creature issues. Themes were now fantasy/occult/alien types.
  9. One of my favorite covers, also. How could any kid not resist plucking down 12 cents for this issue.
