  1. I went online to check out about the Kevin Hancer's PB price guide and found out the dude passed away in 2000. Bummer.
  2. A tough issue in grade. One CGC 8.5 tops the census. Not a bad price, actually, for the 6.5. Here is my "prototype" issue copy. (it's not a proto)
  3. The Avon fantasy Readers have some fantastic and provocative covers, to say the least. I am starting to collect them again after selling off most of my copies years ago.
  4. I picked up several Avon PBs over the years. Some simply beautiful cover art on these. As mentioned, some were copied to comic book format. But, imagine if some of these others were drawn as comic books. They would be considered classics and highly desirable.
  5. Did anyone pick up any books from the Heritage DC Scifi/Fantasy Showcase auction last month? An incredible compilation of high grade issues (many highest grade) DC scifi and mystery titles. I was able to win these and several others.
  6. Never realized how difficult is was to locate a nicer copy of this issue, until I tried to do so. At 7.0, believe it or not, the highest grade on the census, so far. Wonder if there is a Promise copy (dated 1950)??
  7. There are four 9.2 copies in the census. Here is one other copy.
  8. Venus 18 and 19 maybe the ultimate Everett horror covers. I like this one right up there, too.
  9. I would not need six months to regret it, more like 6 seconds.
  10. Yeah it is from a lousy scan. I left the book in the plastic bag when I scanned it.
  11. I have one. Some what hard to find, I guess.
  12. That is interesting. My Shasta's date 3 months prior to the issue month. The JIM 67 is an April issue. The 2-9 date, which I assume is Feb. 9, threw me off.
