  10. Star Wars, Ballantine 27492 First edition stated, November 1977. Gotta be one of the first if not THE first, reprint of the first six issues from Marvel. And this copy is a beauty. Bumped corner upper RH BC, otherwise just a whiff of general wear. Asking $10 SOLD!
  11. Millie the Model 61 Full of Dan DeCarlo art. Coverless complete, sharp Asking $10
  12. Amazing Spider-Man, Pocket 81443 Looks pretty good at first glance, but like an earlier book this one has been smacked HARD with something on the bottom edge. 13. Your attention please! I'll be starting early tonight, I just found out that Freevee is streaming both Reacher Season 1 and Fallout episode 1 for, well, FREE. I expect to binge on television tonight, Stand by for stuff!
  14. (Salaams in TheComicsPreacher's general direction) Back this evening with the last push! More comics-related PB's, more PCH, the last of the Bitter Disappointments, and a couple gorgeous noir books, just to work Surfing Alien's side of the street,
  15. Mutant, Gnome Press, 1953, stated first edition is SOLD! Children of the Atom, Gnome Press, 1953, stated first edition is SOLD! Thanks Preach!
  16. Children of the Atom, Gnome Press, 1953, stated first edition. By Wilmar Shiras. Supposedly this novel is the source for much of Lee's take on the Uncanny X-Men. Read it quite a few years back, and I agree. Book is quite nice except for a bumped lower LH BC, and the usual pencil bookseller price inside the FC. Jacket has a small piece out RH FC, see the pix, and a corner off upper RH BC. Jacket is otherwise sharp with bright colors, NOT price clipped. I want $50 for this one too, FIRM. SOLD!
  17. Let's list a couple science fiction classics. Mutant, Gnome Press, 1953, stated first edition. Novelization of five earlier short stories, authored by "Lewis Padgett" pen name used by Henry Kuttner, sometimes with his wife, C. L. Moore. Most of the sources I looked at say this is by Kuttner acting solo. Everybody hates those damned bald-headed mutants! Sound familiar? Book is very nice indeed, only a pencil price inside the FC with a couple small spots of soiling. The balance of the book is clean and untouched. Jacket is nice, price is NOT clipped, but there's a small tear lower FC, and two small tears upper BC. I'll be uploading plenty of pictures from my phone shortly. Asking $50, FIRM SOLD!
  18. That's it for this session. I *may* be back this afternoon with a couple vintage SF hardcovers. The stories I've heard over the years say that Stan Lee...ahh..."borrowed" the idea for The Uncanny X-Men from two titles: bits from Mutant, by Lewis Padgett, and more from Children of the Atom, by Wilmar Shiras. I have first edition Gnome Press hardcovers in dust jacket of both books. If chores go well I'll be back midafternoon to list both.
  19. Journey Into Unknown Worlds 12 Quarter inch corner off lower RH BC, couple light water spots in logo FC. Otherwise flat, tight, glossy, white pages, touch of general wear. Asking $120
  20. Smash Comics 85 No front cover. Bit of transverse spine roll, otherwise sharp. Asking $10
