  8. Let's finish off this session with a nice hardcover first edition. Slaves of Sleep, L. Ron Hubbard, Shasta 1948, stated First Edition. Yep, ol' L. Ron, Mr. Scientology himself, started out as a pulp writer, working the trade from the Thirties on up to Dianetics. After Scientology took off he went right back to writing pulp and sold a gazilllion hardcovers with his modern stuff. This is a nice clean copy with some bumps and minor wear on the book, and the jacket has been price clipped. Displays very nicely but there are several old tape repairs inside the jacket, see the pix. Included is another of those oddball paperback first edition covers, Lancer 73-573, which I believe is the paperback first print. Everything is gone between page 6 and175, Plenty of pix coming from my camera shortly. Asking $150

  14. All reet! Time for books! The Science Fiction Galaxy, Permabook hardcover P67 I don't seem to run across the hardcover bindings very often. Rubbing upper and lower spine, otherwise quite nice, EXCEPT! It looks like someone with bad set of storebought teeth bit into the upper and lower edge of the book, Semicircular set of indents upper and lower FC, matching set upper and lower BC. Go figure. Great content, anything edited by Groff Conklin is worth a read. Asking $5
