On the bright side, I'm looking at a colledtion tomorrow, if I end up buying it I'll have LOTS better stuff the next time I run a sales thread.... Brace yourselves! Thursday night April 28 I start the EVERYTHING'S FIVE BUCKS OR FREE! sales thread in Gold/Silver/Bronze, to run evenings and weekends for about a week. All Marvel, All thread! About 600 books to list, I'm going to put up as many as I can and still leave time to get all your lovely cash in my pocket in time for Motor City 2011, Smattering of Silver, lots of nice high grade Bronze, a few magazines to boot. All will either be five bucks a book or stack, or free with a purchase. Look for me around 6 PM Thursday night.

Do this: -> Go to the Kudos Forum -> Scroll down to the bottom of the page to display options -> Click Sort By and select Thread Starter -> Choose Ascending This works if feedback is for the person who started the thread HOTCHA! THAT right there is the tweak that makes the whole thing workable. Jazz, a tip of my hat to you! (Oh, and folks, look at the center column, the usename of the person who started the thread, all alphabetical, EASY to find the seller you're interested in. Ignore the thread titles, too much random silliness)

Bought a couple packages of those cool vintage Harvey 3-D glasses from Sky, got prompt shipping (before I'd even paid her, but then, we've known each other for years) and killer packaging. You get some decent stories in the granddaddy of them all, Crime Does Not Pay, especially the early issues, and I have a warm glow for most issues of Authentic Police Cases. But Scrooge is right, a lot of the 50's crime books are humdrum.
