  1. RECAP POSTED on page 4

Hi everyone finally got some scans done, hope to put up at least 75+ books over this weekend.

Paypal only, unless OK'ed before hand

Returns within 30 days unless restoration or undisclosed major damage found then 90 days+.

Shipping $10 unless out of the US, then its $15. Orders over $100 are free to ship.

First :takeit: in the thread beats PM.

  2. Despite Kirby's sometimes laughable style especially in later years when he worked long past his ability to draw, he happened at a pivotal time in comics and helped create so many things which will always put him near the top. Not to mention the overall nostalgia.

Ross though is a vastly more talented illustrator/painter. For illustrator talent I don't think I would put Kirby in my top 50.

  3. 9.9's have always frustrated me. They should be more common than what they actually are.

It's a not so open secret CGC rebranded them as more of a give/favor for various things more than an honest grade. Not that all of them are like that.
But the grading on them as been so horribly inconsistent with many 9.8's far better than some 9.9's.
At least this one looks like a nice 9.8.

  4. I like Skarsgard but not so sure about this. Sometimes his upper body looks more like the Crow than the previous movie, but at the same time I agree he looks more like a villain.

I'll watch it when its free on HBO or something maybe. Looks like it could have gone straight to a streaming service.  Sell your Crow 1's quick.

  5. Saw this in 70mm Imax last night at 10pm in SF. Drove 3 hours each way. Fog and rain on the way back.
The Metreon 16 is a great theater, amazing visuals with chair shaking sound. Really strong movie although I do wish the 3rd act was a little longer.

Keeping fingers crossed there will be an extended version of some sort, not to mention an Imax version with the 1.43:1 ratio (of both movies).

The gladiator scene was especially awesome! Needless to say huge thumbs up.

  6. Very excited to see this in 70mm Imax next week in SF with the kids. 1 of only 12 theaters to show it in 70mm in the world.
Imax 70mm and Imax with laser are the only way to get the 40 minutes of the full expanded 1.43:1 aspect ratio, which I believe bring the total to about 40 theaters worldwide.

I had to reserve seats for a 10PM Sunday show to get the Imax 70mm give-away strips which should hopefully make the total 6 hour round trip worth it.
They give a different one out each week for select showing during the first 3 weeks.

I also gotta get one of those worm fleshlights if they still have em. Only at AMC theaters I believe.

Also for those interested here is a map for Dune 2 showings with Imax dome, 35mm Imax 35mm, and Imax with Lazer.

  7. If I had to guess I would say for keys Swamp Thing 1 is near the top for DC bad wraps maybe the top overall toughest key to get a good wrap.

For Marvel bronze maybe Marvel Premiere 15 or Ghost Rider 1.

For cool covers Cap 253 is an insanely tough book to get a perfect wrap with no white on the edge in any grade. Certainly near or at the all time toughest.

On some of the DC 20 centers you have to hope for a slightly oversized issue to get the "20 cent" circle fully in there.
