Where in the world was the Quality Control at CGC???
Iconic1s replied to Wally's Comics's topic in Comics General
And they didn’t even make the right change -
Your welcome! These screenshots should help. It’s a little hard to find your way around at first. Good luck!

Hello, I think what you would want to do is create a custom set. That allows you to add all of your books, and organize them however you’d like. From that point, if you end up creating any competitive sets, when adding books to that set it will show you which books are available for each slot (from your inventory). I personally don’t know of another way to add books to the registry without a set for them to go into.

What happens when I hit 50 posts?
Iconic1s replied to Kortoga's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
This seems like a good opportunity to provide a couple examples of well crafted WTB posts… you all are welcome. -
This is why I take all my own pics with my books on the same table, leaning against the wall. Never want anyone to have doubts. Used to drive me nuts (still kinda does) when people supposedly have all these books but don’t care enough to add pictures to their sets! This possible cheat was made a bit easier once CGC started scanning all books.

DC Studios' SUPERMAN written & directed by James Gunn (2025)
Iconic1s replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
The only thing they got right is Jimmy. I have zero faith in DC/WB after what they’ve put the fans through the past decade.- 222 replies

Hello @CGC Mike I hope all is well! For the record, I was upset for a little while but have evidently gotten over it. This thread can also be about forgiveness, and I just picked this up, which is a sign of forgiveness on my part! It looks every bit a 9.9 to me and set me back s few bucks. Because of this message, I don’t think this is necessarily off topic. Thanks for all you do, sincerely.

CGC really did a number on my book
Iconic1s replied to Ed Hanes's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
I remember first seeing this picture… was probably the first (of many) times I swore I was going to stop using CGC. So disappointing to see these type of shenanigans behind the scenes. I wouldn’t lay on the floor with my books, and would rather nobody else does either… even if they do claim to be “most trusted.”
