Just caught this comment, so sorry for the delayed response. eBay for $46 + shipping, which had me doing backflips since I have been looking for over a year now and the only book that would come up repeatedly was Superman 423 - not Action Comics 583.

Since the forum is starting to experiment with auction-style sales, have we tried a trading area before? It seems this keeps coming up more and more, so the demand is there.

Just be patient. The book you posted for trade is a sharp one that will attract plenty of interest. Folks just may not log on until the weekends because they work long hours during the week.

It's been a great Valiant Comics buying few weeks. There really is a book in there - promise. One of my favorites. May as well throw in a nice DC to go along with the haul.
