  1. We all need to jump on that immediately because this is not right if he is on the probation list that he is then just doing what he wants.
  2. Gav, is yours "American Werewolf In London?"
  3. Still waiting on my PayPal refund from Connor, but not a word yet. Thanks Steve. (thumbs u
  4. Still waiting on my PayPal refund from Connor, but not a word yet.
  5. He made the same post in a bunch of other threads. This guy needs the ban hammer... I was wondering what the heck was going on as well when I saw that posting. Figured there was some inside joke between you all.
  6. I've shipped hundreds of slabs this way and yours is the first to ever get damaged. Maybe your mailman is too rough with packages.
  7. You'd think, with all the threads about just this sort of thing..... I mean, I haven't been here a few months and there is something like this happening or at least talked about once a week or so. -slym Exactly! (thumbs u Well, at least they didn't mail it in NO envelope and a sticker on the outside of the clear case. That's a plus - I think.
  8. I think we are agreed, he stays on the list as three times is a double repeat offender. That's an additional time too many for me.
  9. So this is the THIRD time he is on the list? How about this time he is banned from buying or selling until he turns 18 and shows a level of responsibility to be dealing with collectors in the sales forum? This playing around just shows he didn't take the warnings seriously before. I say leave him on there for quite a while and really drive it home now.
  10. And your lack of vocabulary is hilarious. You probably think 'irony" is what you do to your shirts. Insults like that from someone who was just preaching manners is why i was laughing at you.
  11. I second this suggestion. The challenge is who is going to keep tabs on how many times someone has gone on and off the list?
  12. :o Double the shock for the double covers.
  13. Not yet. If you can just give him a heads up he has some buyers that want to resolve the situation, it appreciated. Thanks! Careful. The boy is a minor. I would stick to contact via the boards unless there is a relationship with the parents or otherwise legally responsible party. OOPS! Very good point.

  15. Tie the young man to the mast of the ship. Time he learns the ways of the sea (and the forum).
  16. I know and I am sorry for you too. I don't mind waiting for books but to be told misinformation and then not even provide a courtesy email explaining what happened. I find this totally unacceptable behavior. I am beyond pissed right now. When I saw that the Paypal dispute was updated and he did not email me directly, that was completely wrong. Did Danny Dupcak start an apprenticeship program that none of us knew about? But Connor has some explaining to do when he gets back on.
  17. I know. He did the same with me in saying the previous week he was so busy with school work, he forgot and mailed them out. No books yet!
  18. Never. I am a totally push-over with my kids, and they know it already. But it isn't cool what Connor is doing. The books may have been cheap, but he was paid fast once he got around to sending his information. Only fair to treat people the same way.
  19. Time for a spanking. Where is the young man at?
  20. Thank you so much to slym2none for some super Valiant and Death books that were packed amazingly safe, quickly mailed, and arrived in super shape. Neil, I appreciate the solid first transaction!
  21. Vince, I get where you are coming from in the way of the sales area being a little more serious than Comics General. But many deal with each other regularly, and try to enjoy the engagements while also considering their next book to purchase. And like this weekend where some sellers were posting fantastic books, many regular buyers were not online, so then people were asking "Are my prices too high or are these not collectible anymore." I'd post a quick note in their thread it was all good, and I thought their prices were spot-on. I think the level of fun interaction is a good thing to keep everyone coming back. When it gets too much in a sales thread, though, I can see where it could be confusing for people joining the thread late and wondering what is left.
  22. I have to agree with Pat and Dave. If you are going to display quality books and make it easy to get to your registry, it's the nature of the beast folks are going to inquire about selling. Take heed of the advice, as only you can change the situation. Collectors are not going to change it for you. And stop being short with folks, or I'm reporting you to the North Pole Naughty Police (NPNP), Los Angeles Division.
  23. Well, I've never minded your PMs other than this one of you with the blow-up Hulk by the pool. That's a fan taking it to the extreme.
