  1. Thanks to Ivegotneatstuff for yet again another great book and rapid-fire shipment. Appreciate the super book David!
  2. Thanks so much to juggernaut for a fantastic copy of Caliber Presents 1 CGC 9.6, and packaged to withstand small missle strikes from customs inspectors to boot. I won't forget this Michael!
  3. I've always worried about that in the past as well. Especially since having a hurricane flood our house in Maryland years ago, the memories never leave you comfortable. There's a foaming system that's been around for a few years where they come in and enclose your entire basement rafters and side areas. This means also enclosing all water pipes, gas lines, etc. A neighbor had this done recently for $800 and the sound protection was also super if you are looking to install a theater in the basement. http://www.greenbearinnovations.com/insulation.html I'll be doing this soon enough so we can pull all our insulation out and enclose the whole basement ceiling. Just trying to figure out how much work this is going to be taking everything out so they can do the work, or can they just work around the comic racks if I cover everything in plastic.
  4. Nice find on Bobby's part, and great pickup TJ!
  5. Thanks so much to Par2ch for two super SS CGC books I've wanted for some time now. You helped take both books off my list, and with fast shipping adding to my positive experience. Thanks Daniel!
  6. Thank you so much to Mr.Silvestri for an outstanding grouping of CGC books that were extremely well packaged for safe delivery, and rapidly shipped. Much appreciated Sam!
  7. Thanks so much to KingOfRulers for an outstanding Uncanny X-Men 9.6 that was securely packaged and quickly shipped. Very much appreciated!
  8. Sam, you have been fantastic to deal with every time, so I am sure folks will be there to support you. I hope my small purchase helps in some way.
  9. My favorite personally. (thumbs u I'm not disputing these prices but what makes this relatively common in high grade (17 9.8 132 9.6) book worth 50-80 X 9.2 Guide? I love the cover also and do not follow modern prices but there sure are a LOT of other things I'd spend $1000 on than a McFarlane Spidey as much as I liked reading them. Are other issues other than 300 getting similar prices? How about 316? For that hard-core Spidey fan, this is a book they go after because that white cover is hard to find without imperfections. So if you are trying to collect all 9.6 to 9.8 graded books, this becomes one that you will not often find a 9.8 for your want list.
  10. I think your books have been great (why I bought a few, right?), so it may be more about the folks posting raw moderns for prices that are a little surprising.
  11. Nice finds! I've never seen that Transformers playing card cover. Someone on the board collects any covers with playing cards if you ever need to move it. That someone would be PokerKid. Oh, I know it. He helped me out with a poster I have wanted, so been keeping an eye out for books fitting his playing card focus. That Transformers definitely fits his cover collecting. Sweet!

  13. Are you calling Annihilus "Beautiful" as I didn't see that coming.
  14. I can see Flee jumping all over this issue for future GIF entertainment.
  15. Thank you so much to MCMiles for some outstanding Daredevil and Astonishing Tales 9.6s that were so well packaged the 2009 USPS Package Polo Olympics couldn't damage them. Thanks Mike for a fantastic first experience buying from you.
  16. Thanks so much Charles. If you paid any faster I think PayPal would have had to shut down. Enjoy the super books!
  17. Thank you to CDaBruce for a great set of Amazing Spider-Man CGC 9.6's, which were well packed and quickly shipped. I'll be back for much more.
  18. Thank you so much to Cimm for a fantastic Batman 232 CGC SS, fantastic packing, and fast shipping. I am overjoyed!
  19. That's what I went to when they initially dropped the tracking is the Customs Long Form which has a processing code. The short form has nothing on it for any form of tracking. Yes, and no . . . look again. Ahh, I grabbed one and see what you are talking about. It's a small code under the bar code. I never noticed that before, and instead went with the long form as all copies displayed a code. Thanks for the education! Have you ever had to ask for tracking by this code? I'm going to assume they make it extremely painful.

  21. Excellent! Then this is a change, as I was sending a non-USPS box to Canada and at that point they had decided to drop all delivery confirmation options and would only offer this via Express Mail. BTW, a few of us had discussed this in the General section when the changes had gone in, and folks had confirmed in February there was no further tracking for international Priority. Must have been enough complaining. Thanks for the new info. This is great!
  22. When is the last time you mailed a Priority International box out Michael? If it was up to December last year, you are correct. But when I went to send one of these boxes to Canada in January 2009, that is when I found out there is no more delivery confirmation or signature confirmation for Priority Mail. Just Express Mail. If this has changed, I'd love to know about it as to mail just to our brethren in Canada and not have this helpful information is painful. Thanks!
