  1. Custom titles still exist. You have not received one (yet) The rankings are gone. On a side note, I see we all just lost our join date. I have alerted web help to try and fix this asap.
  2. Dena and I had a meeting about 3 months ago, and racked our brains over this. The rankings were not changing with the post count like they used to. As it turns out, I believe they turned into achievements instead of post counts, and we don't use achievements. So, we did away with the rankings, and now everyone is listed as a member. @dena might be able to explain it better but, that is the way I (my old brain) remembers it.
  3. We appreciate everyone being patient with our follow-up regarding the Clayton Crain acetate covers. After discussions this past week, CGC will assign a Qualified Signature Series label to comics that contain an acetate cover by Mr. Crain, as well as his signature that has been witnessed by a CGC representative. This also applies to the Ultimate Fallout: Facsimile Edition #4 that sold in C2E2. The grade assigned will take into consideration the grade of the acetate cover as well as the interior book. For members who have already submitted copies of the Ultimate Fallout issue to CGC, we will extend an opportunity to have Mr. Crain’s signature applied to their copies so they receive the Qualified Signature Series label. If a copy does not exhibit Mr. Crain’s witnessed signature, the book will receive a qualified grade. Going forward, CGC will only certify artist-created covers that are first approved by CGC, and those covers must be signed by the artist through the Signature Series program to receive the Qualified Signature Series label. The cover must be created by a published artist.
  4. Hello You can submit books at the CGC booth. I believe they will be brought to the CGC building in Sarasota for grading. At this time, I don't think we will be doing on site grading. It is possible that could change. Mike
  5. Hello The Flareon looks a tiny bit better centered than the other 3. So there is nothing to fix, I am sure it just isn't quite O/C. Mike
  6. Yeah, after looking around, I came to that conclusion as well.
  7. The other thread has been removed. I also moved this to mixed due to the copper age book.
  8. I am sorry but, I have not been provided one. Hopefully, it will be soon.
  9. Hi Still working on it. The solution we were hoping would work did not. So not we are working on another one, which should work. Mike
  10. I was told this: This card was added yesterday during business hours.
  11. We are working diligently to add all of our current games to the POP. We are expecting a system update next week that will allow for a more expedient rollout of these games. There is a priority list for which games will be added first and MetaZoo will be next to be added.
  12. Hello here are our recommendations for shipping to CGC. These suggestions are not required so, I am sure the holder you mentioned above is fine. Mike Shipping Your Trading Cards Packaging Instructions For the protection of your cards, place each card into a protective sleeve. Then, place each card in a semi-rigid sleeve. The sleeve you choose must be sturdy enough to allow us to remove the card safely. Put all of your cards in between two cardboard pieces that are larger than the cards. When packaging your cards for shipment, please place the cards in the order in which they appear on the submission form packing slip. Secure the cardboard pieces with rubber bands. Ensure that the rubber bands are not too tight. They should be just tight enough to hold the cardboard pieces together and prevent the cards from falling out. Important: If packed too tightly, the cards inside may get damaged. Protect the bound cards with packing material such as bubble wrap, Styrofoam pellets or other shipping/packing material. Pack in a sturdy cardboard box, ensuring the bound cards are not packed too tightly. This may cause damage if mishandled. After placing your packing slip(s) in the box along with the cards, use packing tape to completely seal the outside of the box. If you are submitting cards under the WalkThrough grading tier, mark each side of your shipping box with WK in large, bold letters. If you are submitting cards under the Express grading tier, mark each side of your shipping box with EX in large, bold letters. If you are submitting cards under the Standard grading tier, mark each side of your shipping box with ST in large, bold letters. If you are submitting multiple grading tiers in the same shipping box, indicate the highest/fastest grading tier. Incorrectly marked packages will experience delays. If using USPS, ship your packaged cards to: CGC Trading Cards PO Box 4701 Sarasota, FL 34230 If using a shipping provider other than USPS, ship your packaged cards to: CGC Trading Cards 5501 Communications Parkway Sarasota, FL 34240 Important: The shipping provider that you select when submitting your order refers to the return shipping from CGC Trading Cards to you. You are responsible for safely shipping your cards to CGC. To really submit like a pro, the CGC Trading Cards Shipping Kit contains everything you need to send your cards safely to CGC Trading Cards. Customer alone is responsible for safely and securely packaging the collectibles, and should, in Customer’s sole discretion, determine how to package the collectibles to prevent damage during CGC’s normal handling process. 13. Hello You do not need to write anything on the outside of the box for bulk shipping. That tier has a little longer turn around time, compared to the other tiers due to the cheaper pricing. I believe it is around 30 days. The other tiers are marked so we know to expedite them. For example, Walk through has a turn around time of 3 days. Mike
  14. Hello The submission form should be updated soon. Please wait until it is added. I expect that will happen by Tuesday. Mike
  15. This is what I was told: You have to check under the original certification number to view the grade. Since it was just a correction, the book will have the same certification number as it did originally. If you check that number on the certification lookup screen on our website, it will show the correct information. As you can see, it now shows The "Collectors Edition" note. CGC Cert # 4027482023 Title Adventures of Superman Issue 505 Issue Date 10/93 Issue Year 1993 Publisher D.C. 17. Sorry to hear this. If it has not left CGC, I could help if I was provided with a submission number. Send me one ASAP, and I will check.
  18. Hello I am not aware of any immediate plans to grade these cards but, that could change. Mike
