Declared Value question from a submission Noob
CGC Mike replied to burnsbabe's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
Hello, Thank you for your message. The value we ask you for is an insurance value, a number you would feel comfortable with in terms of a replacement value if your item was lost or damaged while with us. Each tier of service covers up to a maximum specified insurance level and you must choose a tier of service which will accommodate the declared value for your item. Services and Fees We do encourage you to be conservative as we do not reimburse you if you over-value your book. In the event that your book was grossly under-valued, we would contact you to bump the book to a higher grading tier and you would just pay the difference in the grading fees at that time. You can review our Declared Value Policy here: Declared Value Policy. Mike -
I am moving this to the general discussion area, as CGC doesn't speculate on value, or if it would be worth it to send in for grading. Mike

I'll keep that in mind. I believe the contest will be running during Halloween. Actually, you should remind me on the 1st of October. It's possible I might forget. -
Hello CGC doesn't comment regarding the value of a collectible. I see you have a thread about this in the general discussion area. Perhaps, other collectors will chime in. Mike

So, I was wondering if one of you high tech board members could make the list of participants I have into a single row, and alphabetize it? I have the list 3 rows wide, and can't seem to turn it into a single row. -
