  1. Hello I am being told that This card was graded this year, it is not Inadvertent Early Release, that is a mechanical error. It should not be sold and should be returned for a free reholder. To submit this as a mechanical error to be corrected, choose the mechanical error on the submission form. You will find a link for a free shipping label to return it to us. If you have any questions, let me know. Mike
  2. The signing hasn’t happened yet unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts with her ongoing projects. We are still actively working on setting it up though.
  3. That would have no effect on their decision.
  4. Hello We can safely encapsulate it as long as there are not pieces hanging off/about to fall off. This particular card appears to be stable enough to grade and encapsulate. Mike
  5. Yeah, that looks to be the case. @PaulioScorchio Since it was purchased on ebay, most likely you will have to pay for a reholder to get this fixed. We have a 2 week time frame for mechanical error issues, and that applies to people who have submitted the book. However, you could send this picture and text to service@cgccomics.com and ask if we will reholder this for you for free, seems it was mislabeled.

  9. It was my understanding that it would go into effect immediately, and any future labels will include the updated information.
  10. Sure. Give me the certification number that is on the back of the slab, and I will look into this. Mike
  11. I believe you have been banned from 2 topics but, other than that, there have been no restrictions on your account since the end of March. You were given 1 warning for a political post, which restricted your ability to post for 2 days. When you came back, you made about 14 posts in the moderation thread, where you made long posts insulting, board members, calling people names, and making long comments that again touched on the edge of politics. So, another 5 points were added to your account for posting guidelines violation, which restricted your posting for 7 days. Again, this was back in March. You are welcome to post here as long as you do not violate the terms of use. That includes but not limited to, no politics, name calling or making posts that will clearly start an argument or disrupt the forum. If you don't agree with our terms of use and continue to ignore them, you will be banned from the forum. It's as simple as that. I think if you just stick to talking about comics, you will be fine.
  12. That works for me. It's up to you if you want to wait for more opinions or start a poll.
  13. The new thread has been removed, and this thread has been cleaned up. A civil discussion can take place or not...
  14. I would go with option#1 and something along the line of, "Option #2 No new rule is needed to restrict sellers from listing books that are not in their possession" Or, option #1 and #2 along with the option I posted. (3 options)
  15. There should always be an option for "no new rule is needed for _____________". Otherwise, the poll is basically forcing a new rule.
  16. I believe the answer is yes, because all of the other information about the book is listed. Collectors and dealers can use the QR code or go to CGCcomics.com/certlookup to enter a collectible’s certification number and access not only Grader Notes but also grade date, art comments, number graded in the CGC Census and more.
  17. @Domo Arigato I think your poll was a success in terms of seeing where board members stand. I agree that is seems members want to see a rule about sellers having the item in hand. My advice would be not to give up and use the information from this poll and narrow down the choices in the next poll.
  18. I agree. Basically 2 questions which amount to yes or no. This brings up another point. Several people have books being shipped back from CGC and have a FS thread for books that are still in the mail. This rule would require them to wait until they have them in hand. Many people think we already have too many rules. Don't get me wrong. If the majority of board members want a new rule or change, I am not opposed to the idea.
  19. Due to the fact that the majority of board members did not vote in favor of any of the choices, and taking into consideration the posts in this thread, there will be no rule added to the marketplace guidelines at this time. Just by doing the math in my head, about 161 people voted, and the most votes for any 1 choice was 54
  20. Hello Here's a link to our services and fees. Note there is a $5 handling fee plus return shipping. https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/services-fees/cgc-grading/ Here is a link on how to submit. https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/how-to-submit/ Mike
  21. Oh, I thought he was looking for examples from people who had the fingerbends 🤷‍♂️ I am. These could be separate problems or the same. If people send in books that have been professionally pressed, and are comic back with finger bends, I am interested submission in getting submission numbers and the grades of the books. Especially if you were expecting 9.8's and received several below that grade.
