Take your gut feeling. Subtract 0.5 to 1.0 and that will be the CGC grade.

Hi Matt, You might consider having someone cast the missing top third of the cover and recreate the large logo. The artwork on the verso side might be tricky but it's a large house ad. The half-tones in the ad can't be recreated perfectly.

They are not transvestites, they're called katoeys the 3rd gender and some look way way hotter than females.

What I can tell you is that I changed my display-name because I no longer own a copy of Detective Comics #33; and preferred to update my display-name to something a bit more generic to the Batman character while still retaining my love for GA Tecs. (thumbs u

I was going to suggest a new name...BaxterBuildingBastich...but I don't think he'll like that.

I'm with Yannis on this one. The boy needs some serious intervention and maybe rehab for his Silver Age addictions. Perhaps something as stern as what happened to Christopher Moltisanti on the Sopranos.

Since I have had a fair number of PM's and texts and calls, thought I would chime in...as a few have noticed, I have sort of been "absent" of late

 

Decided I needed to re-evaluate and focus on my family this holiday season, and to do that, well, I had to break some habits (like spending too much time on the computer, and not enough time on the "important" people in my life...not that friends here are not important, but my family is, well "more")...

 

So, have been on a journey of rediscovery! And this journey is taking me to Thailand for the rest of the month (Church mission trip)... I will return sometime in early February, and hope to be "back" here to some extent, enjoying my time with my friends and fellow boardies...but if I am not, well, you can still PM or call or text me, and I will respond (eventually )

 

but in the interim (till early feb), if you email me, or PM me, or call me, and I don't respond, well, it is because I can't!

Though there is an overwhelming favor of 29 here on the boards, at least it seems.

 

Both books are incredible and will always be an incredibly tough call.

 

I hate to tell you Alex but 29 is waaay cooler someday you will understand when your older

(thumbs u The story in 29 is much better than 31. But 31 is a better cover. A cover that is published as the back cover to the giant DC anniversary book has to be pretty important.

if Hugo continued to become a bigger and bigger? yeah because 36 is kinda one of the even # dogs of pre-robin Tecs compared to the 27, (28) 29, 31, 33 and 35. So a first appearance tag would propel it higher compared the its cooler big brothers. but Hugo might literally have to get a spinoff film to really catapult 36 higher someday.

Feh. I use my Tec #34 as a coffee table coaster.

Need some feedback. I sold two books on my last sales thread. I gave the buyer roughly 6 months to pay and took $100 deposit for 2k of books. I asked that payment be made for Oct 1st. I sent pm mid and late Sept which were replied that things had happened and he needed to pay off various expenses but he was selling some items and was trying to make the Oct 1st deadline. I sent a pm Sept 18th, Sept 30th both of which were read and one final pm Oct 13th which has not been read. As payment was due Oct 1st, should I just report Novemeber 1st and keep the deposit or should I nominate him now???
