  1. I just received my second consecutive order with warped inner wells on almost all of my comics. I really cannot understand why CGC cannot resolve this. It is not a batch of bad inner wells. There are videos on YouTube going back 2 months with people complaining about the very same issue. Even my 9.8's have bends and ticks, nobody will buy these comics. Nobody wants these comics and CCG's only response is to send them back in for a re-holder and most people that do are being told that they are within tolerance and having the comics returned to them in the same case. Even if they do re-holder them there is no guarantee that they won't be warped again since they can't seem to figure out how to prevent it in the first place. Even if the new inner well isn't warped many of the comics will show signs of stress from the previous holder. They need to be re-pressed. I am out until CGC resolves this. I will no longer grade with them. There are other options and another one coming in January. I suspect as people have suggested that it is their new sealing process, that being the case they were better off before. This is going to hurt them far more than the re-holder swapping scam. Presentation is everything and a large majority of people that grade with CGC whether people like it or not, do so to resell the comics and this will affect the value of those comics big time. It's a losing position for us and CGC.
  2. Just got an order back and almost the entire order has these same issues. It is extremely frustrating, they need to resolve these issues or I will not be sending more comics in.
  3. I mean I understand but the packages are insured. All books were crunched on the same corner, should have been obvious. Would be nice (I know they are busy), but would be nice if they spot something obvious to reach out to the customer and say hey, we think there is a problem do you want us to continue. I mean those books were badly damaged and they are modern age comics. I know older more valuable comics can still be worth serious money even in mid grades. Either way, lesson learned. I will double box from here on out but a lot of people spend hundreds sometimes thousands a month grading. When you Fast Track them that is a big ouch!!! Common sense would say hey, the box is damaged maybe we need to inspect and notify the customer. But I get it, my responsibility. I will just send 25 at a time and pre-screen.
  4. I recently received back two comics from CGC. I have never had issues with CGC before but I do not believe that these are the comics I sent in. They are both severely damaged. I pressed the comics myself, I would have never sent these in for grading much less sent them in on the Fast Track tier. This is very disappointing, I have heard similar stories on You Tube and other internet sites but never have experienced issues. I guess it's possible there was damage to the box during shipping but either way it's a huge disappointment and a waste of money.
