  1. Aha! If I cut each page , get it slabbed, then sell for 6K a page. I would be rich!
  2. What would I do with my complete book?
  3. I've jumped off the grading machine and feel better for it. Try it sometime, it's quite empowering. 😉
  4. I never had money either. I didnt live in Los Angeles, but would save up my allowance and Dad would take us there.
  5. I remember a giant book store in Los Angeles that we used to go to as teens, was the only back issue shop around. I'm pretty sure it was on Hollywood boulevard, or maybe even Sunset boulevard. That place had everything from back issue comics to posters, regular books. It was huge, at least to a pre-teen me.
  6. I've been collecting comics for 50 of my 57 years of life. My buddies and I would go to the corner 7-11 and grab 3 comics and a slurpee for a dollar each when we were knee high to the curb. What great memories , lucky for me I had saved nearly all my childhood comics, and financially did pretty well too! I cant imagine buying the books I do have at today's prices, thank God I did it when they were .20c.
  7. They are crazy hard to find in high grade.
  8. They aren't such bad grades. The Eerie 23 is awesome, and those Blazing Combat books are notoriously tough in the 9.0+ area. Especially the #4 with a white front but black back cover. How was the spine on the #4's.
  9. Damn that's a shocker for sure.
  10. I will donate submission to a person of my liking if I win. As I dont submit comics either.
  11. None of that. I keep everything very dark and cool.
  12. I have a 1929 Oakland 3 window business coupe. Oakland became Pontiac in 1930 so it's a rare beast indeed.
