  2. I am so against pressing I found out that I had a Showcase 22 cgc 4.5 with white pages mind you( very rarely do they give white page notation on a Showcase 22 ) and I sold it, got rid of it. Yes, I did inform the buyer that it was pressed. Sold it for nearly nothing , I was so heartbroken.

  7. I've been a collector for 45 years, and I buy from just a handful of people that I know who and what they are about. So yes i avoid pressing just fine.
  8. CGC should have a label for pressed books that they themselves pressed. Let's see how that works out.
  9. Regardless of what people here say, pressing IS restoration. Manipulating a book to look better or grade higher is the very definition of restoration. I reject it. I would be more pleased to find a near mint condition copy instead of a manipulated book. Pretty simple really.
