I swear that there is some kind of quantum shift in this world. Not just these boards, my office doesnt seem to care about customer service anymore. I find life changing, and not for the better. Maybe I am just an old fart in a bizarro world. Or maybe I did die of Covid at the hospital, and my soul doesnt realize I'm gone. Whatever it is just sucks. Everything, and everyone seems different to me and I'm just not sure what to make of it.

I had a Hulk #1 (1962) sold it to a board member clear across the country. The damn thing was almost a week late. I thought I was going to have a heart attack every day it was floating around out there.

Back in the old days we had forum dinners at just about every comic con. We even had Stan Lee, Neal Adam's, and a few other celebs join us at times. Ahhhhhh good times.

Absolutely, can you imagine a high grade high dollar key book that you searched forever to find getting a dog eared corner.

I think I'll just enjoy the books I own raw, and buy a graded book here and there. Submitting to me is not an option.

I obviously have zero clout here. Since the change over it has been hit and miss on being able to log onto the boards. I get a ton of CGC advertisements that wont let me log on though.

I can even tell you what my first major comic book buy is . An AF 15 that would grade 5.0/5.5 if I ever had it graded(which I wont) for 500.00 in early 1980's . I think 1982.🤔

😂 I sold a Fantastic Four #9 to (I think) Jayman about ten years ago for 75.00. I can still count on two hands how many times I sold a book.

Amen to this. I have sold a handful of comics, but only in private sales to board members. I'm in the collecting part of this game, the flipping, selling game is just way too much time to devote to an already extremely busy life I have. Nobody wants my stuff anyway. I mean who in the hell wants a Showcase 4 in 7.5 , or other equally dumb book. When I go to the big man upstairs, my kids can deal with it. Haha...
