I think $150k for the 2.0 is roughly fmv..  I've had my copy now for over 9 years and still loving it :whee:

With HA 2.0 selling for $222k, would FMV be $200k ish now? Does the white pages offset the tape?

  2. For sale is Amazing Spider-man #14 CGC 6.5 with off-white pages

In mid January a CGC 6.0 sold for $2800 on ebay.

I am asking $2900. New price $2800. I'm not too sure of the price but I love this book so I will not be disappointed if I hold it.

Buyer pays $30 shipping to US and Canada.

Preference is money order or bank wire. But I will accept Paypal. No returns since it's graded.

Case is perfect. First :takeit:wins this book.

If you've been thinking about them for many years, were you ever able to be lucky enough to pick up the odd copy here or there, or was @aardvark88 the only collector who was lucky enough here to hit Pat at just the right time and snagged a few of these Chinatown books from him?  :wishluck:

Pat showed me a few books he was selling but they were lower grade copies non-superhero so I passed. Looking back, it would have been cool to pick up one or two.

Yes, your mention of the Wonder Woman 10 also had me puzzled there as the list at the time shows the WW run going only from WW 10 through to WW 20.  (thumbsu

Any possibilty that you might have confused it with Wonder Woman 20 because that one there should have been a real stunner out of not only just the WW run, but the entire Chinatwon Collection as a whole?  hm

Maybe it was Pat showing his Rockford WW10, and I got it mixed up with his Chinatown books. Nevertheless, it's a great collection that I thought about for many years. Glad to see some of them on this site.

    Hi again

I minor correction regarding an earlier post,  airwalker mention seeing a Wonder Woman 10 chinatown copy, the run actually starts with #11, however I do have the Rockford copy of WW 10 (9.4) so that may explain it.

That must be it. My memory is fading on me :). I really appreciated you showing me a few of your high grade books - it was a treat!

Big stack of this newly designated pedigree was slabbed years ago. Most have wht to off-wht pages. I bought a few raw funny animal comics from this pre-designation. Some of the comics did not have a Chinese symbol stamp on either the front or back covers. This is 1 of the lower grades; never been pressed or surface cleaned.

Very nice Allan. Now I wished I bought a raw lower grade book from that collection :)

Jigglypig Chad had an excellent location with bright lighting for his $2 bins. Canadian Comics.net brothers had their normal prime location across from the main entrance for the weekend hordes:

Best value may be $50 for Fonzie's signature as he is a cultural icon from the 1970s for those that grew up on 'Happy Days.' Was glad to chat with my buddy Wayne J. who I had not seen in Vancouver in 8 months.

What's the grade on the CBW #10?
