This thread could use a bump and WWs from the very early 1950s are very difficult to find in Uber-HG:
Beautiful book!!!

Dug these out today for scanning. Yeah you see the Superman Decoder a fair amount but what makes this one special is it was my Dad's as is the Hop Harrigan items.
Thanks Dad.

I was looking at the CGC census under Timely Comics.
As of today, over 8,500 Timely's have been graded.
Out of all the mainline Superhero Timely titles, only 1 book has been graded 9.8 by CGC.
It may not be a Marvel Mystery...but it's still pretty special!
Wow!!! That copy is insane.

let's not forget this copy on CL.

No posts here since April?
Yeah, this thread is in major need of a .
So what's new in the Pre-Robin Tec world?
How about three CGC-certified, Universal copies of the second most important book in the history of our hobby: two currently available for sale and one not yet processed.

Detective Comics #27 CGC Universal 4.0 (Off-White to White pages)

Even if I had enough to buy either copy, I would take the 4.0 all day every day. Half the price and superior pages...I could easily live with the stains/defects.

Behold, my latest acquisition...
MAJOR KEY: 1st appearance of the GA Atom; 4th overall appearance of GA Green Lantern !!!
As you may have noticed on the back cover, the piece torn off the upper-left hand corner obviously brought the grade down from what would have easily been in the mid-grade plus range.
Oh well, I still couldn't pass this up given that I got a pretty decent deal for it on eBay.
Congrats, great look copy.

Just got this in from CGC.. Highest graded copy I just gotta figure out how much it's worth as I do not know much about WW comics Bought from an OO.

Grail acquired! It's been a long time coming. I've wanted a Superman #1 since I was a kid. Special thanks to ciorac for the encouragement. Thanks buddy!

I don't have much pics but here is one from my camera phone I took a while back....I left the bags on so the pics are a bit blurry as the comics are much nicer.

Ok, here is my re-tooled DC GA "forgotten keys" collection. I've swapped out some for others, so I'll have to reacquire them one day.
But, for now I am very pleased with these 10
Great group shot! The WW1 looks better out of the case....

A little sumpin' sumpin' I picked up yesterday at WW Philly
Great book!

it helps to have the Gator connectionnot nearly as complete as Sharon's but here's a foursome.Ben, you the man! You the man!
Gravy, just gravy. Does it get any better than those four monster grails, nope.
Quite something Ben, to say the least.
Does indeed
Super foursome books Ben! I hope to join in a foursome someday
Absolutely gorgeous books. I would be happy to own even one of the four someday.
