    Yikes. Ebay is really flooded with them now. When I bought my copy a little over a year ago, I looked for about two weeks before buying and there was maybe 3 or 4 at a time. There's about 20+ at the moment.

    I hope your book only rises in value but to be blunt, 90% of these modern store variants are worth a solid 8 bucks after 6 months. Good luck.

    There were raw copies of that book surfacing on ebay as well. First, it was blamed on a rogue employee. Then creator comp copies. There is always some excuse why "extra copies" of these ultimate raw copies pop up.

    "Yes they will be audited and destroyed by CBCS." That seller is good people but the people in that group are being lied to. They keep plenty of extra copies of these books.

    Seriously, I don't know how anyone can't see TheComicMint and their partners have been manipulating ebay for years. They pump up fake sales when a new book comes out. Then it tanks within a couple months. Rinse and repeat. There are always raw copies that "Sneak Out". It's because the owners of these companies are corrupt. Stay away if you work hard for your money.

    Hopefully they reslab it within a week and don't make you wait in line. Every time I see one of these threads pop up, I know it's quite awhile before I can send books in again. Last time they told me they are working to improve the cases

    Officially, their statement will be, "That is considered an acceptable amount..." Though, if you speak to the right person, they may still re-holder for free with the understanding it may not get any better.

    So, there is a fix that minimizes the effect. When you submit, ask for the #5 cases(thicker ones). Even with those, I think it's still unacceptable so I stopped submitting for the most part until the effect is like it was in the previous gen cases. Very, very minimal. The problem is, a majority of CGC's income is from flippers, who don't care what it looks like.
