  1. Had to chime in on this thread...watched this show in 2-days. Freaking loved every minute of it. Awesome show if you guys haven't watched it. Can't wait for Season 2
  2. Are you F$%#& kidding me?!? Err'body gotta be black, or a woman, these days in Hollywood...freaking ridiculous
  3. Think so? Break out by game system? I would definitely piece it out as well Aggiez. I'd list game by game, and system by system. Unless you're just looking to move it quick. You'll get far more action on individual listings for those who are after really nice CIB games they want like Zelda, rather than a large amount of items they most likely already have. I dunno about game by game, that's a lot of work, but I'd list the CIBs in small groups (by system) and the loose games in larger groups (by system). The best CIBs you'd probably sell separately. And yeah a random mish mash lot is not the best way to go. Nobody wants to buy (and ship) 25 copies of some drek comic just to get the one they actually want. And judging from what I know of october he's probably interested in the nicer CIBs Good feedback Bronty, thanks. I really don't want to sell individual so I like this approach better. ...and you know October well ;^)
  4. OK, need some input from you video game experts here on the boards. Selling my collection, getting ready to post it as a lot on e-Bay. Thoughts on the ballpark $$$ you think I might be able to get for this collection? Highlights include: - 1x CIB NES system - 2x NES systems - 1x SNES system - 1x Sega Genesis system - 1x NES Retro-bit top loading system - Over 40 CIB games, including Zelda, Zelda II, Final Fantasy, Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Super Punch-Out, Kid Icarus, Contra, Metroid, Ghosts N' Goblins, SM3, Baseball Stars II, etc. The Zeldas, Final Fantasy boxes are beautiful! - Great runs of carts: Mega Man 1-6, Zelda 1-2, Mario 1-3, Double Dragon 1-3, Ninja Gaiden 1-3 - Tons of the classics (loose carts): about 80 - Total games =130 - Other misc. items: game sleeves, game genies, posters, misc. instruction manuals, etc.
  5. Dan bought a $4K+ book from me and the deal was a smooth as they get! Great boardie!
  6. Legitimate? $3,100! http://www.ebay.com/itm/AVENGERS-4-CGC-7-5-Silverage-Captain-America-/152074568814?hash=item236859c46e%3Ag%3AEXwAAOSwu1VW72BH&nma=true&si=J%252BX6FKtS5uuGUrBsd4M5nL6wn6w%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  7. What I thought was strange was an Old asian man wasn't minority enough? Can't count on all my fingers how many strong female characters have been in superhero movies conversely can't think of a single asian male character off the top of my head. Maybe sunfire was in an X movie I haven't seen all of those. that's what struck me... a white lady replace a potential Asian actor..oh well. It kinda fits the social experiment we see in media today. White male taking orders from women and racial minorities and/ getting kicked by such or cowering before them. Must beg on the floor for a woman to teach him the arts? I guess we will see in about 20 years the effect this has on society if any when todays children become adults. In any event it was a missed opportunity to include a very cool asian character. all of this...
  8. Not sure what he needs to be honest with you. He asked me to post my experience with him and I did Rich wanted someone who i've bought a book from on the board to say the transaction went well I've only bought a few books all went well. I have the PMs, but as for any of them coming on here and vouching, Just have to wait and see oceanavekid picked up a Hulk #271 from me a few months back. Transaction was smooooooth....
  9. Disagree Red!...and my 6-year old would as well. Deadpool isn't just showing up in R-rated movies. He's on a lot of the Marvel cartoons that are out now as well. He's my 6-year olds favorite character by far! He's like a funny, wise-cracking ninja with a lot of cool weapons and swords...exactly what little boys love.
  10. Yeh, whatever issue the little 1" pink television head-shot appearance shows up in, prior to the 1st full appearance in Forever People #1...
  11. Jimmy Olson #134 and Forever People #1 just went BOOM!?!...again?
  12. Big kudos to Tracee. Good boardie
  13. I liked it. It's a little too Harry Potter meets Hollywood teenage clique movie, but I'll watch more.
  14. AND Rad Racer and Top Gun in the Top 10?! Those games sucked... Castlevania, Contra, G&G and Mega Man...those were the brand new games at the time. They needed a few issues to work themselves up the ladder.
  15. Me too! Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, Wizards & Warriors, Punchout, Contra...nostalgia galore!
  16. A few pics of the innards of #1...oh, the memories!!!
  17. I'm selling the collection as a lot. Won't be for another 6-8 weeks though until we move in to our new house and I get these out of storage. Tons of boxed games, runs of some great titles, a few different consoles, posters, etc. Nothing too rare but a good collection of goodies. Here are a few random, older pics of some of the stuff...
  18. Great thread! I hate the collecting bug...found this searching the boards for NES threads because I'm about to sell my NES collection...now I'm thinking twice.
  19. Matt bought a high-dollar book from me. Flawless deal. I rarely do business outside the continental US. Matt came across as a good guy, had some good feedback, so I went ahead with the international deal...I would recommend.
  20. This one brings me close to having a seizure...
