I agree...and personally, if I wanted the "1st appearance" of either Nighthawk or the Squadron Sinister, I'd be going for Avengers #70. To me, #69 is like chasing Amazing Spider-Man #299 for Venom's 1st appearance or Hulk #180 for Wolverine's first appearance. I like AV#70 here.

And CAK, did you ever consider the people who are saying it's awful are saying that because it truly is, and those people can recognize bad acting and poor writing when they see it? No. I'm going to have to agree. I have not delved into it yet, but it has received pretty good reviews from sources who actually do reviews for a living. OPINIONS... Er'body has them. I don't share my opinion for a living...just on the funny book message boards and occasionally on social media. BUT, I know what I like and what I don't like.

I doubt that's why it's scoring as high as it is. He may be on to something...with the high-school play caliber acting and the weak writing, it's a plausible answer to the ratings.

Yes, it is...but most are. Jessica Jones was good. Kept my attention. I really liked Daredevil. This CAGE just doesn't do it for me. Colter, the guy that plays Cage, sounds like he's Ivy League educated and acts like he really likes puppies and flowers...no edge to him.

Unfortunately, the show is not that great. I fully expect you to make comments like this . . . time and time again. Really? Because I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've said something like this. one, two . . . I have to agree with rjrjr...the show stinks. I typically suspend all expectations with funny book movies/TV shows and come out very entertained, but I can't seem to do that with Cage.

Couldn't agree more with this paragraph. The well spoken, overly articulated dictation that Colter acted with was just all wrong.

I just finished the Origin episode. Pretty good, but some of the stuff in these episodes is so laughable...I don't think I can continue. It looks like an SNL skit when Cage's unruly hair kept growing during the various fight scenes. The music doesn't match the mood of the scene. And the acting...wow! I think I'm going to read the plot summaries on Wiki and skip to the finale tonight.

Loved Jessica Jones. I got through Cage episode 1 and I don't know if I'm going to make episode 2. Acting stinks, story is soft so far, not much of interest. Hope it picks up.

Thanks for posting! This comment really resonated with me. “Stand By Me" is one of my all-time favorites and this nailed the overall feel of the series for me. Loved the kids, but I never felt like it was a safe, ET type movie...something I think Super 8 tried but didn't go far enough with. "Matt: We always wanted to keep the stakes high. When you’re looking back at “Stand By Me,” the stakes feel very real. The kids never feel completely safe, even though there is an element of fun and you love those boys. There’s this consistent danger with Kiefer Sutherland coming after them, the train coming so close to them — we wanted to always keep the kids in real danger, that’s not “Dungeons & Dragons” danger."
