  1. I guess English wasn't one of those classes... (thumbs u
  2. But it doesn't have a DS cover. If it did, it would be a monster. As it is, it's a cool book for hardcore DS collectors. Quack isn't a DS cover either, yet it seems much more collectible/popular. Do you think so? Aggiez copy is sexy, but I haven't seen many copies of Quack #1 on display at conventions or anything. I think both are big time niche books. We all just like the hell out of them because this is where the DS nuts all hang out. Although I don't see a huge difference in the collectibility of either book, I think the Quack! #1 book may have the edge because it is over a year older and arguably the first comic book work from Stevens...although I don't believe this has been confirmed yet. See the note from Nick below. There are a few non-comic books (fanzines, mags...) that featured splashes of Dave Stevens work but Quack! may be the first "comic book". + Frank Brunner is no slouch...
  3. We need to do a poll just for the DS Covers registry set books. Maybe this weekend...
  4. Nice copy Sean. I really need to be one of those!
  5. Awesome work there Josh! Paints a good picture...
  6. I had it on the list - no kidding. But then I checked the registry and saw some had hit the census. Plus Dice has a strong 9.6-9.8 going into CGC. It's the only copy I've ever personally seen above 8.5. It's no doubt tough in high grade. This one? Here's my copy...
  7. Stevenites...a point debate in the Registry forum raise this question from me. This is the more approprIate thread for it... What DS books would you consider the Top 5, or Top 10 if you're willing, rarest/hardest to find books in the set? Curious what everyone thinks...
  8. Hoarding is not healthy, I'll go over there and help clear all that stuff out for you. Heck I'll even do it for free But seriously that's a pretty big collection. My OCD would never allow this. Mine neither! Someone needs to have a garage sale
  9. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: indeed!!!
  10. Which books? The three he subbed. :: I don't mind saying...Girl Crazy and Rocketeer Adventures 2 & 3.
  11. It's a beaut. I have several at CGC right now. Should be graded in the next week or so.
  12. You're a one-trick pony, aren't ya? (thumbs u
  13. well, luckily your registry is just for "inventory" purposes...
  14. The second choice looks better...sharper. Did you try a small red mat underneath? Might be pretty cool looking with the red in the cards...
  15. Correct me if I'm wrong, but most of these have been collected into TPB's. Might be easier than hunting down every issue. + 5 meeeellion. And yes, they are collected in every sort of TPB imaginable. Great read, great art.
