Just because a book has low census numbers doesn't automatically mean the book is rare...there are other reasons why books are not slabbed...cost/benefit. I guess the cost/benefit for this book is now clear and with this price these are going to come out of the woodwork driving the price down to the Alien Worlds #4 range.

Does CGC slab this one? I don't see it in the census. It's ONE wrap. Knowing that they slab Action 1 wraps I don't see why they wouldn't slab this one...but would they grade it or just slap an NG on the label?

There's no DI #1 Platinum - it's the DI #1 Black & White - and there's only one version of the ashcan. Im so with sean on the b&w Vs Platinum. Platinum sounds so much more exciting. I guess the nomenclature really depends on which one is rarer. If it is finally determined that the "Black & White" version is rarer than the "Gold" version than the "Platinum" title works...if not, the Black & White makes more sense. I love that emoticon
