There are *lots* of online stores that sell individual issues, some better than others. Midtown Comics, MyComicShop, Mile High Comics, etc. (Maybe avoid Mile High Comics unless you have money to burn.) If you're just looking to read, then you can always buy the rest of the story digitally from Comixology. If it's an ongoing series, many comics are collected in trades which stay in print. (Try https://www.instocktrades.com/)

THANK YOU! I don't do digital...Old school and want the real deal.

BTW this is the Ben Reilly Scarlet Spider series.

  2. So there's a book that is actually dual covered. But I like the back more than the front. Problem is on the back of the slab it's actually upside down. So if you take the back of the book and turn it upside down, you have the same book but just the other cover...If that makes sense.

Can I take my 9.8, send it back to CGC to be reslabbed but with the back cover as the front slab cover?

  3. There it was sitting on the shelf...ASM 2. Freaking #2!

It looked nice for it's age. An easy 6-6.5 or maybe a 7. Guys I have absolutely no idea what I was thinking...I wowed over it and the guy at the shop said "Yea we just got it in". I asked what the price was ($1,500) and I could afford it. I even said "Wow that is a really good price!"

Then I walked out to think it over. This was at 5:30pm and they close at 7pm. Quickly came to my sense and the next morning she was gone. That one will hurt for a long time.

Aside from dealers/flippers, I think the two should be synonymous at least in one direction. Where not everything you like is something you collect, but everything you collect should be something you like (Again, the exception being dealers/flippers) Otherwise, if you don't like it, why are you collecting it?

If you collect golf balls but ask about collecting a tennis racket even though you don't like them I could see your confusion. However this is equivalent to someone collecting Hot Wheels treasure hunt series and getting the hotdog car that in the treasure hunt series even though you don't like the hotdog car. I hope this makes sense and I really don't know how to make it make more sense to you. My avatar is Spider-Man and the hottest Marvel zombie comic is #1 with zombie Spider-Man in the same pose as AF15. So I would hope even with the most basic problem solving skills you could connect 1 + 1 as 2. If not then I dunno what to tell ya.

I'm curious so forgive me if this sounds a bit aggressive, I don't mean it to be

You didn't like the Marvel Zombies series I'm assuming since you said you found it silly, but if it were the case that some plurality of the comic collecting community considered it a "staple" in Marvel collecting you would suddenly like it/want to collect it?

Don't get "like it" confused with "want to collect it".
