The photo in 180 definitely showed the whole character as well as name? Did you need a picture of his backside to be complete? It's a full appearance and I am unsure how in the heck you are struggling with this.

180 is the first appearance. This isn't up for debate, he appears. 181 is first full story. Monetarily 181 has taken over, but when you see the character.. That's an appearance.

Batman 251 has exploded. 9.6 copies used to sell regularly for under $1K, and 9.0 copies as little as $150 bucks. While it was the beginning of the "new joker" and the story is fantastic, it is nowhere near Detective 168 and never will be. 232 is a MAJOR villain and is STILL under valued when compared to Marvel counterparts (think 1st appearance of the Green Goblin), that being said books like Tec 225 have exploded off the map, and add Tec 76 (scarecrow) to the list. Books are just not obtainable any more.

That's not that serious for a key issue of a character who will be part of Justice League Dark. And honestly, the 9.8s are expensive because there aren't a ton available, that book will come down. On the other hand Swamp Thing 37 STILL is undervalued as 9.8's are relatively tough and the character has a long and proven track record.

Wait.... DC is affordable keys? Batman 251 is a nosebleed book, and it's not a key. Batman 232, MGA 80, HOM 174, Swamp This 1, HOS 92. Across the board Dc has exploded. So I am unsure of any logic of going to DC to save anything? My guess would be you are going to keep seeing the carousel of High Price over VALUED keys from Marvel due to speculation from the movies and tv shows. And honestly, the true Marvel keys that have "exploded" were dirt cheap prior to shows (Ex: Daredevil 1, Strange Tales 110, FF 48/49).

I regularly cancel and reactivate my subscription for D+, Netflix is barely hanging on with maybe 1 drop a month to grab my attention. Hulu I haven't had for 2 years, don't know if its worth having.

Did you read the Ultimates books (where this version was created)? The character is pretty damn cool!

My 9/1 modern pre screens are at SFG.

When I sent them in the Value Fast track was like 27 days.. I called 3 weeks ago and they said they should be done in 1 1/2 weeks. Now they have no time frame for any of my subs.

I pre screened the 16, awhile back they lowered it to 15 to compete with the other grading company. If it changed, they never told me. Since they have already been in the grading room, I would assume they would have told me otherwise.

I made that comment actually. I told them that they shouldn't be doing these signings if they cant keep TATs acceptable. When my books hit for value it was 27 days fast track and now 47 I believe.

My modern pre screen from 9/1 is still at SFG. They told me another 2 weeks, 2 weeks ago. Thursday it was another 1-2 weeks..
