  1. And to be clear, I think I only had 1 submission in 2021 because I was tired of not knowing when I would ever get my books back. I just went back to selling 99% of books raw. The idea of making another $100 in 6 months (assuming the market volatility didn't devour the books value) became too much of a risk. For every week longer they take I risk losing more and more. I finally got tired of that ish.
  2. And we had the discount for having an account. They need to explain WHY they feel they should be raising prices while providing poor and unreliable service.
  3. So you become a Mod and just start bullying everyone. REAL NICE, real nice Mike. JK, I hope you and the wife are having a nice holiday break.
  4. The stock market goes up and down in cycles, as stated by JP Morgan.
  5. Meaning they do not understand the cyclical nature of the hobby. Similar if you have only been watching stocks for 4 years you think the market just always goes up.
  6. I plan to buy 1 book this year. It is not a Tec, and it's one of my top 10 favorite villains.
  7. No, comics 10x every year. Everyone who has been in the hobby less than 6 years knows this.
  8. Mike Wolfe has a net worth of $7Million, AFTER the show. He makes $500,000 per season to film the show. The show has been on for 11 years. WHERE do you believe he made his millions?
  9. I have decided to sit back and wait as I can see some prices coming down. I am not saying a market crash or even correction, its just cyclical and I believe buying opportunities are coming.
  10. I essentially have been priced out of collecting. No more pre code, no more GA Tecs..
  11. I sold my Avengers 57 9.2W with beautiful centering and gloss for lovely profit. I paid $100.00 and was my first "big" purchase. I bought my wife a Louis bag and she lit up like a Christmas tree! I miss that book, the memory was worth it. On the flip, I refuse to sell my Chamber of Chills 19 and the value is almost at 100X what I paid. We make choices, we miss things we no longer have. But at the time, it was the right choice.
  12. You lose credibility when your only addition to the conversation is the correction of "AMS".
  13. The ROI will change and I will add that PSA is going downhill. How exactly do you have so many true "gem mint" cards? Just because they are new doesnt mean they are flawless in production, and thats my gripe with PSA. And the label? I really dont care, if you want a fancy label go with HGA or whatever, but I am paying for accurate grading not a sealed top loader with a description.
  14. All is well Gary, glad to see youre still kicking around!
  15. Whats up guys! Hope you all have been well! @gaz973 @THE_BEYONDER
  16. When they make that change, they admitted it. You are seeing videos now of you tubers disappointed that the flow of PSA 10's has all but cut back 30% or more. Says that the old product wasn't graded to high enough standards, lacks integrity.
  17. This is going to become a hotter topic as time moves on. I collect baseball and football cards aside from comics. My sense is this: CGC rarely grades comics 10's with a few exceptions, typically related to cover stock. 9.8 is considered NM/M and a nearly perfect book. CSG 9.5 I view as a CGC 9.8. PSA hands out 10's like free popcorn at a car dealership, this alone will make competitors who grade tighter more appealing to collectors who buy the card and not the label. Youtube and sites are getting flooded with people complaining that they are not getting PSA 10's on modern cards (my first submission to PSA was like that, but I am not complaining). PSA KNOWS that the competition is about to get wild and they will have to adjust or fall to the wayside similar to CGC's competition.
