  1. Thought I would give the boards first crack before I put these in my Ebay store.

First :takeit: gets the book (If a PM'd agreement/offer is accepted it will go by time stamp).

No HOS/PL folks, please get yourself in good standings first.

Shipping is priority $15.00, International will be exact cost.

Feel free to send offers via PM.

Check or MO are appreciated, Paypal is accepted as well!

     And now for some comics.

Is anyone seeing movement on prescreen moderns GEI 6/7 timeframe? Sent in 2 orders of 25 books both recieved and GEI on 6/7 the 2nd one has finished and shipped back a week and a half ago the first one that was recieved is still GEI? not even close to the stated TAT just seems weird the 2nd order is already done and returned and the first is still stuck in GEI. First in first out.......LOL

my 6/8 is at G/QC for a few days now. It seems they were slammed with submissions prior to price increase and there is a bottleneck.

Uhh, the company manages these boards for one.  You pay as soon as your books are entered into their system even though work technically won't begin for 30+ business days.

I think each contractor functions differently.  When I remodeled my place, I was given a timeline for estimated completion and payment was divided into 4 equal parts.  Though, I have seen videos surface on reddit of people who disagree with contractors, don't pay, and the contractor basically comes and rips up all the work they did.

That is actually illegal, and why contractors split payments. Once you pass 75% completion or thereabouts it becomes illegal to rip out the work you have performed. This is why most contractors (I honestly never heard of one that doesnt take a deposit) get money for materials and some labor upfront, because people will stiff you and you lose on not only time but materials.

What kind of business takes a full fee upfront anyway? When I put my car in for a service, I only pay when the work's completed. Likewise for medical, dental, plumbing, electrical etc etc.

This guy had nothing to lose by waiting for payment until completion of service. The worst that could happen is he'd end up with free mega-valuable books if an owner defaulted on payment -- not that anybody would, considering the books involved.

If you wanted a car frame off restoration you are paying a large chunk up front. Comparing this to a brake job is silly at best.

Plumbing, Electrical, etc all require a deposit of usually 50%. And the balance paid upon completion.

For first i have to say like everytime the first reason want me to buy these books: is because the story make me so hungry:drool:

Never buy books just to win money you will always regret it, except if its your work...

Ok now, yes i know what you would say dc modern books are not hot on the market and the people invest in are going to lose money...

BUT this Run is really really popular and considered the best GL story of all time, the charachter became more appreciated by a lot of people after the run. more of that the lore is just amazing, with the introduction of all this new Lantern Corps with many different colors. And the Art oh my god is just beautiful!

Rebirth and the Sinestro Corps keys have potential in regards to the Geoff Johns run. Rebirth was an amazing story and really created our current Hal Jordan, the main run has some great character firsts, sinestro corps, and the building blocks for Blackest Night. Overall his stories have potential and characters as well.
