  3. Comes in here accusing people of shilling, gets caught shilling
  4. This is really all it comes down to. The timestamp of the "OK." We just learned in the thread in CG that when a PM post is edited the time stamp is unchanged. PM time stamps cannot be trusted. It was better in the probation thread. He posted it in a lot of places… Ohhhh, we got one of them..

  8. This whole damn thing is stoopid, and the current roster of members and their nonsense has me on all day facepalm.
  9. Hows that, Transplant posted the seller decided to honor his BS rule instead. The seller didn't see it. He should have corrected and stated it had sold via PM, and requested Transplant to post the obviously VERY necessary
  10. Dan has been using this phrase since 3/19/2012 http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=252304&Number=5537444#Post5537444 My take is: 1) The rules/conditions regarding PM vs were very clearly stated in the sales thread. There was no ambiguity there. It was not in teeny text away or otherwise camouflaged. I dislike the rule itself but applaud its clarity. 2) It is the responsibility of the buyer to read and understand the conditions established in any sales thread. The conditions were very plainly stated. Then he should explain that he is not going to take negotiations seriously. They reached an agreement. Transplant accepted whatever terms and committed, afterwards he changes it up. Why negotiate?
  11. And a man is only as good as his words. And if they had a deal and it was agreed upon first, I would put him on the pl for backing out of a deal. I don't care what your thread says, it was agreed upon and finalized in a pm.
  12. it's a shame as they have some decent stuff. But everything is eBay grades and prices.
  13. Those guys are a NO. Can't grade, everything is NM pricing. Went in there twice, maybe they will learn from the boards. Tons of books and prices that drive you right out the door.
  14. I've gone this route. First unconditional in PM or Thread wins, unless a deal has already been agreed to by both parties. (Timestamp will decide winner). It doesn't negate the seller stringing the buyer along, but unless there are time limits on offers (which I don't advocate for), I don't think you can totally eliminate it. this is worded how it should be.
  15. Maybe we should create a standard template for sellers. Apparently these tools can't be honest on their own.
