What would you suggest be done about Symbi? Hall of Shame. He is a scammer, multiple times. He is not safe to deal with, lies, and then always backpedals. He posted a picture of a book for sale that he does not own. I do not care what the reasoning is. If someobody purchased that book, and he did ship. It would not have been the same book, bait and switch, misrepresentation, etc.. What else can we do, the guy is an open door to somebody REALLY getting screwed over.

Torpedo Comics was the company that was co owned by the drummer from System of a Down. They closed up shop, I am unsure as to who the current seller there is, but the name Torpedo Comics is probably not available any longer, and the new seller is trying to get sales due to their old reputation.

As much as you dislike the way this situation was resolved, it was resolved in the best manner in which it could have ended. The best course of action is to just avoid the sales threads altogether, and perhaps a public reminder of his past transgressions. This assumes he doesn't shape up. Absolutely right. The PL must function the way it is set up to function. And when the aggrieved party accepts and announces it is all good, the guy has to be taken off. Yep

I have been reading this, and responding to many PM's. Here are my thoughts. 1. I would like a stand alone site. Even though right now it may seem uneconomical, I want to get used to having one operative early rather than late. 2. I want good scans for my books. Using CCL with just a grade increases chances f returns, having scans on the other hand decreases this. 3. We are working towards an expansion. Ultimately we would like to hit a good amount of national conventions, which should allow us free advertising for our site. 4. We currently are sitting on a few thousand books, and probably 1,000 "nice" books that will fit well in peoples collections. These books are more likely to be purchased with other books, rather than individually. 5. Good search function. I personally will not frequent a site that does not have a good search function, this is key. Sites like WW Comics, Comic Link are more of the "style" I want. They do not need to be as ellaborate, but similar. my 2 cents
