  1. From the wording of Mikes last reply it seems to me that they don’t even have a date set for when this will happen. Probably why they weren’t able to provide more info.
  2. Dang. I’d almost rather they got sent with Arthur to work on. Maybe CGC will bring the remaining books to NYCC and get Arthur to do them there.
  3. Scored a massive stack of Valiant newsstand comics in the 50 cent bins of a comic shop. I just grabbed a single copy of each one they had except for Solar issue 60. I grabbed both copies they had. The newsstand versions seem to be pretty rare and command a good price on eBay. Kind of wish I grabbed them all to flip but really I’m just happy to have some copies for myself. The condition on them all is pretty great for being loose in the boxes when I found them.
  4. Man I hope not. I imagine Arthur is doing a bunch of work getting ready for NYCC now. Hopefully after that he can get the remarques done. I suppose the bright side of the delay is that he may spend more time on each remarque now. I thought the price he was charging for them here was really really good so I’m sure there were a lot to do.
  5. And if they are getting done outside of CGCs headquarters on Arthur’s own time, who is the verified witness? Can signers be their own witness?
  6. Oh man that sucks. I wonder if mine is one of those.
  7. Nice pick up. The Conrad in the issue is my dad. I believe it’s some short story about a teddy bear.
  8. I just asked Rob on Facebook. Looks like it’s scheduled for September 5-8. Four days of signing. There must have been quite a lot of submissions.
  9. Any info on when this signing is going to happen? I haven’t seen anything posted on Robs Twitter and I imagine he would post about it. I was going to ask him on whatnot but he stopped doing his shows there.
  10. Glad to hear the signing has happened. I’m excited to get my copy of FF 348 back with the Skrull remarque I requested. Can’t wait to see how it turned out. Hopefully I’ll see some movement on my order soon.
  11. Yeah. When you’ve got that many books you have to keep it organized somehow. And for me doing the organizing, boxing, and labeling is almost as much fun as finding and reading the comics.
  12. Added a new shelving unit. I think it fits in pretty well.
  13. Hoping to get a copy of Fantastic Four number 1, since free is the only way I’ll be able to afford one.
  14. I think the price for the signature alone is a bit high. That said I will be sending in copies of Youngblood 1 and 2. His other prices seem to be in line with what they have been selling for on his Whatnot shows. Do not too big of a surprise for me.
  15. Yeah that label is pretty bad. Especially since it’s really just advertising a documentary. If I had the kind of money to invest in these books I would absolutely pick copies without the Fantast label.
  16. Awesome to see another Valiant collector. I’m pretty close to completing my collection of 90s of Valiant titles. I think you are on to something pretty exceptional with the drawers for the book case. Is really like to see more of them. Maybe you could take some pictures while you are building the next ones and make a little tutorial. I think a lot of people would find it very useful.
  17. The book is a reprint and the label is for the original pressing.
  18. I’d like to see a Radiant Black or some sort of Massive-verse themed label.
  19. Went to a small local show today where the main dealer sells book at 50 for $20. Pulled these out as well as 146 other books. Not too bad snagging a Stormwatch 4 for forty cents.
  20. 10 book modern submission. 11/17 - Delivered to CGC 11/30 - SFG 12/13 -GEI
  21. Well, I’m glad to have something with a bit more rarity, even if it doesn’t add anything to the value. I would like to have a correctly printed copy as well though. Too bad it’s the most expensive issue in the run.
  22. I think it’s really interesting to see how the coloring was done without the black ink. It’s a cool look into the process.
