  1. Yeah but you should've seen it before the C&P.
  2. I desperately want to hate whoever did this, but I just can't. "Watch you. Watch you very much."
  3. Thank you, that really was everything I needed to know about variants.
  4. How do low print variant covers find their way into the population? Are they distributed to locals upon request or through a lottery, are they company/industry perks, do the artists give them to friends? Who gets those 800 copies of Massafera's virgin SS Rebirth #1s from the distributor? Thanks.
  5. That time Dominic Fortune got clocked with an umbrella by Turner D. Century, then flew away with him on a bicycle-built-for-two
  6. They're Ultra Pro. I'm really thinking these need to go back, it's very stressful to look at my books on them. Last time I bagged my books was 30 years ago but I really don't remember ever getting a pack this bad.
  7. Thank you so much, my last 3 hours of research actually makes some sense now.
  8. Does halfback refer to boards coated on only one side as opposed to fullbacks being coated on both sides? Do I understand these terms correctly? also, I read in a (much) older thread that they tend to come with a bit of curvature, but is this not a bit too curved? Shiny side up. Looking to rebag and just got these. Thanks
  9. Thanks for the reply's. I've certainly noticed those on pages but never noticed them on a cover before. I know they wouldn't effect a grade when found on pages, would it when found on the cover?
  10. I hopped online looking to replace a random, unimportant book I noticed had a chunk worn away from the bottom. I looked at about 20 copies and every one of them had the same damage, in the same place, in the same triangular shape, to varying degrees of distress. Is this a common p/b defect? A shipping thing? I've not noticed this before. Sorry for the noob question. Thanks for any info. The damage is at the bottom edge just to the right of the upc.
  11. A bit dusty but Airwalker's first appearance just seems a little nicer than I remembered it being when I boxed it up 1/4 century ago. The spine was super tight so please forgive me not cracking to the staples. All the pages are there, no interior tears or stains. Thanks so much for any thoughts.
  12. These are fun. Here's one of my "best" for category. In the '80s/'90s a young working man on Long Island could afford nice comics or car insurance, but not both. But to me these old reader copies were gold finds.
  13. Hello Have had this for 30 years, up on the wall for 20. With all the Warlock hoopla I'm curious how my favorite piece grades. I know it's low, so you won't hurt my feelings. Thanks in advance for any opinions.
