Just curious. I wonder if whatever caused the slight discoloration maybe dried the paper a little more and made it crack. Not a big deal I just over analyze

What are the two dark areas along the spine on the front cover? Back cover outside edge, is that a piece of tape? Centerfold is well attached? Inquiring minds want to know.
I mentioned the tape that was apparent on the back .. all relevant flaws are shown. As far as the dark spots along the spine … I have no idea. I’m guessing there may have been tape there a while back ( to protect the staples?) that got old and dropped off. There is no residue I can see or feel and its it’s not on the back.. treat it as if it was a stain.

The white discolorations are right where the spine stress marks are.

Two brothers, JP and MP fighting over ownership of this book? I like the back cover markings.
Probably a 4.5 but the front is great and I'd hope for a CGC 5.0.
Thanks for sharing.
That is funny. Totally makes sense. I always thought why would someone do their initials like that over and over. Didn’t put 2 and 2 together.. thanks for the insight

8.0 to 8.5. The mis-wrap I don’t think is gonna be a factor. Very nice book.
