5.5 for me. It’s just weird because I expect it to be higher .. seeing many ultra high grade copies of this book. Have a tendency to be overly harsh … flat and cleaned I could see 6.0

I think so too. Not much wrong here. Soiling on the covers 7.5

I think 5.5. It’s one of those books wired together in a bundle.

Wow that’s interesting - after seeing that and getting it pressed I’d want a 9.6 or I’d be pissed
-
Is that a crease that runs the length of the book? I guess it just depends on the degree that they are able to improve that. If so. I’m not seeing much else to pick on.
-
3.0 possibly 3.5. If everything is attached.

I’m gonna say 9.0 looks like some kind of printing defect

I’ll take a stab … not an expert but I got to say that’s a nice book to have in your collection. Don’t see stuff like that as often these days. Collectors are gobbling up everything from the golden age I think it’s a 4.0

Yes I concur… I’m not seeing any food or drink that has made its way to the covers of your books. That’s commendable and actually they look unread but that’s neither here nor there.

C&P for 9.2. Too many ticks break color.
Thanks for sharing. You appear to have a great collection based on what you've been posting.

2.0 good question I think you will get “tape on inside cover” I think I read tape is not considered restoration.. since it’s archival on a book of this grade … I don’t think it’s gonna matter. If it was high grade and that type of tape was used to repair something then yeah. Conserved or restored. The key for me is how much of the cover is detached? If completely separated and taped together then maybe 1.5

I’m at 4.0 and for the record that type of tear is affectionately known as a “spine split” super common on square bound books and you have to look for that if you’re gonna buy one. And if you don’t handle it carefully you easily rip half the cover off. It is a major grading factor
